I have two 20lb queen size- one for my side of the bed, and one on the side of the couch for 15min recovery naps. I have MS and am sensitive to chemicals and have noticed the off gassing from furniture, pillows, etc, and have had to be careful what I have in my home to sit/sleep with. The poly beads from other weighted blankets off gas when body temp warms them up. The glass beads and cotton cover on this are just what I needed! I recently purchased the 10lb child sized blanket for travel... After I had taken my 20 lb one on a ten day trip to NY and decided I didn't want to try that again. 10lbs is not enough weight for recovery at night, but much better than just a hotel blanket. Works great as a lap blanket in car and plane. I have referred at least ten friends to these and they love theirs. Make sure to never put too heavy a blanket on someone small or frail. I also have found (and so have my friends) that the blanket is comforting as long as your body needs the weight, when recovery hits, I wake and literally toss it side. Claustrophobia isn't an issue with this as it was with a poly beads filled blanket, as the glass beads stay cool

My 11 year old has had trouble sleeping since birth. I was concerned he would get hot under this blanket but that has not been an issue. Our usual night routine is lay him down, he tosses and turns, wakes me up, I sit with him until he goes to sleep, when I leave the room he wakes up, so I stay with him again but by this time is stressed because he can't sleep. I have tried relaxation music, essential oils, reading, warm milk, foot massage. We have only had the blanket a week but so far he goes to sleep quickly and doesnt wake up over and over. Wish i had know about this years ago. Effects our entire family... we all can finally sleep. Bravo!

I am a 59 yo female and am a restless sleeper. I bought this after hearing about the great results on Facebook from a much younger woman. I have been pleased with the results I’ve had. Per my Fitbit tracking, I wake up less often and have more deep sleep than without it. I also am experiencing periods of deep sleep throughout the night, where previously I only experienced it early on in my sleep cycle.It took a few days to get used to, but now I really love the weight. I am 5’2”, 126 lbs and bought a twin size 10 lb. blanket (since my husband doesn’t need help sleeping). I recommend going lighter if in question about weight.

Ordered this for a child with anxiety and ADHD. He loves it and finds it very soothing. It is pretty warm so he mostly just uses it in cooler months. He still uses it in warmer months but doesn't sleep under it as he is very hot natured. I also ordered one of the covers and that is the only place I could find a little fault. It ties to the weighted cover in the corners and sometimes the weighted blanket gets bunched up and is a little awkward to get straightened out in the cover. I do wish you could wash the weighted blanket but just washing the cover has worked fine. All things considered I would buy it again. Ordered the 10 lb one for a 9 year old and he likes the dinosaur cover. It's become one of his must have items.

this weighted blanket was worth the wait (no pun intended)!! my daughter has sensory/anxiety issues especially when getting her to go to bed there are nights that she would toss and turn for an hour or more some nights.. Since purchasing the blanket we have have noticed a remarkable calmness in her instantly actually the first night my husband and I did not hear a peep out of her! We ordered the duvet which took a little longer to get but again worth the wait. it is extremley soft and adorable, great product for sure!! Im seriously considering buying her a lap weighted blanket for sitting in car and doing her homework.

This was a Christmas gift for one of my daughters but I was curious about it as well because is was thinking of buying one for myself. The quality is fantastic, the fabric is soft and the weight is distributed evenly. When I put the blanket on, it felt cool and continued to stay that way. I didn’t get too hot under it and I like that. It kept me at an even cool temperature. My daughter said it was her best night of sleep!

Extremely happy with this blanket. My 12 year old son has a difficult time falling asleep and staying asleep all night. I did not want to resort to using melatonin on the nights he couldn’t sleep at all so I was thrilled when I purchased this and it worked better than I could have expected! He tends to be hot when he sleeps and it’s never bothered him! The blanket seems very durable considering he takes it with him anytime he sleeps away from home!

The reason I gave it four stars is because it gets a little hot in summer. It is also expensive. But I have wanted a weighted blanket for a very long time! This blanket was good for people with sleep jerks because it kept them down. Now when you had a rough night and you are very tired it is great because it helps you fall asleep fast. And if you are not so tired it helps with that as well. You need to have a sheet or blanket between you and the weighted blanket because it cannot be washed. Sweat or stink can get in the fabric and you can not wash this item in the washing machine. A good buy all in all though.
