Great camera for the price
We bought this camera to take on a 3-day scuba trip to Looe Key, Florida. We tested the camera out in a swimming pool before taking it into the Atlantic Ocean. Our maximum dive depth was 25 feet and the underwater visibility was reduced to maybe 40 feet due to windy conditions generating 4 to 5 foot waves. The camera was underwater for a total of about 8 hours during our trip and the housing didn't leak a drop. We took tons of photos and videos and were very happy with the picture quality and the ease of use of the camera. Be aware that this is just a point-and-shoot camera. If you want to control f-stop, focal length, etc. you are going to have to buy a much more expensive camera. This one was perfect for our needs. We were very careful to protect the lens covering on the housing so as not to scratch it. Instead of all the included attachments (we only used one of them), I would have rather had a complete spare housing. We were pleasantly surprised with the value of our purchase.

Great camera for a budget
For full disclosure, I was not paid to write this review! However, the camera came with a paper that said if you write a review, they'll send you a free charger and 2 batteries. They don't ask for a positive review, just to write one. So I have to give them kudos for not asking for positive, but it probably explains the plethora of reviews. The camera comes very neatly packaged. Everything is separately bagged and the camera and case have plastic film all over. Remember to get the film inside the case lens cover, as this is will be in the video. If you use the camera properly, good mounting, you get pretty good video. If the camera is rattling and wobbling, don't be surprised if it looks jittery. I don't think there's any or much stabilization. Perhaps I haven't turned it on if there is.I'm pleased with the quality for this price though!Having had experience with a GoPro Hero 2, the buttons and menus are similar. Not exact, but you'll know what you're doing. Some of the actions are a little goofy, but intuitive enough. When I flipped the orientation of the view, the buttons seemed backwards, like their function didn't flip orientation with the view. The remote that it comes with works really well. I really like that feature. The back screen is really nice. As I mentioned the GoPro Hero 2, it doesn't have one without the accessory. The kit does come with 2 batteries. I think they're only half charged, and you should charge them before use. The accessories are okay. I bought the SmilePowo accessory kit to complement it, and it works well together. I think the plastic accessories are made from a commodity ABS plastic or something. They really should be an engineered grade plastic, because one of the clips broke upon careful disassembly.Would I purchase the camera again? You bet, mostly because of the price. If I was doing high end work, would I purchase again? Probably not. But for fun and making little videos, it's great. One thing I'm being careful of is the lens. I don't know what material they are, on the camera or the case, but my GoPro ones got scratched and affect the video quality.

Setup not for a beginner
My first impression upon opening the case, which is very nice to have, is What a Mess! Parts and pieces were all jumbled around. There are so many brackets and clamps and they were just willy nilly laying there. I wish they'd have been placed in small Ziploc-type baggies. Once I got them sorted and stuffed into the mesh compartment of the case I could remove the camera, which is encased in the water-proof holder. My second impression was how tiny the camera is. I knew it was small but seeing is believing.I would say the reason I did not leave 5 stars is because I found the directions severely lacking in explanation. For one thing, the print is very small and hard to read. The part of the directions that explain the different mounting positions (helmet, handlebars, etc.) is done only with pictures, which would be okay if you could see them without a magnifying glass. The explanations for operating the unit were minimal, so for me it was trial and error and pushing buttons until something happened.Having successfully figured out how to do a small video I next downloaded the app on my phone. That was easy and connecting via wifi wasn't too bad. The video (a very brief, less than a minute test sample) took awhile to email to my computer. It went through, finally and it played out very nice with great picture quality. There was, however, no sound. I must research that further. There again, I wish there had been some reference to it in the directions. My purpose in buying this unit was for my daughter to send me video of my new grand daughter (yet to be born) via email since we don't live too close to each other. I wanted something fairly easy for her to manage and not too expensive to begin with. Maybe there are better products out there for this use but I don't know.I think once we get the hang of the thing, it will be great fun. As I said, my main complaint is the lack of simple instructions.

Beautiful pictures easy to use great deal w all u get. . .
I got this camera for a Disney Bahamas Cruise. As far as pictures and videos it does an AMAZING job beautiful pictures and clear video. The reason I am only giving it a 4 star rating is not because the camera it's self but the quality of sound when u download it using the application to connect with your phone laptop and tablets I can't speak for a desktop as I don't have one. . . I would definitely buy it again and recommend it cause the camrea is great it's the app that needs woek

Great cheap alternative to the other expensive options.
I bought this for my daughter (she's almost 11) as an alternative to the much more expensive Go Pro. She loves it. The video quality may not be quite as clear as the much more expensive cameras but it's very good for her needs. It's easy to use and we added a 128 gb micro SD card (does not come with the camera) so she can take A LOT of videos. It also comes with a nice case, extra battery and many accessories, that have been very handy for her to use with taking videos. They appear compatible with the Go Pro accessories but I'm unable to validate since I don't have any authentic accessories to compare them to.

What a great little camera !
I got my Fitfort 4k action camera and I am delighted with the picture quality and the user-friendliness. Image download is simple and straightforward and it came with many useful accessories. the remote control and WiFi connectivity both work flawlessly. I'm impressed ! I brought it out in the Canadian winter yesterday and it performed perfectly. A great, affordable action cam that I will be using in my travels.

Terrible waste of money. There's a reason it's so cheap!
I'm sending it back. I will probably find a good used GoPro.
