Ok ive been eyeballing this foot print for a camp chair for a while now. I tell myself this would have been useful on that last trip. This time I got one and YES it was very useful on my last trip. Heres what I thought about it.PROS:This ground mat can fit inside the case of your camp chairs. I just roll it up with my chair and slide into the case. This way I never forget it. If I don't need it I can leave it in the case until I put away my chair. It increases the stability of my chair. The legs on are independent of each other. But this mat ties them together at the bottom. This helps the legs from spreading apart even on hard surfaces like asphalt. This thing really shines on soft sand or dirt. I see other sinking into the ground and I have a good stable seat. Its light weight and pretty durable. The bottom has a grip like texture.CONS:It doesnt fit all types of camping chairs. Its very specific to the more modern collapsing style.Overall Im going to get one for every chair I own. Its way to useful not to have this addition and im extremely impressed with the performance. Bang for buck good.

This sand mat is exactly what I needed to pair with my REI flexlite chair. It fits perfectly in width and is about an inch large in depth, so a simple tuck, sewed on both sides, makes the mat just right to easily slip on and off but it stays put until I remove it. Well made, quality product that is still light weight. Found instructions for modifying online but I did it more simply by not removing any stitching, just tuck and sew! Took maybe 10 minutes. Tested it on the Florida beach, and it works perfectly. Thanks Trekology!

I had the small Dog Toy tennis balls on the feet to stop sinking. This mesh mat from TREKOLOGY works even better, fits inside the bag for my chair, and is the correct size for my OneTigris Camping Backpacking Chair, 330lb capacity chair. The materials could be stronger, but will be sufficient for years of use if I keep the mat off of sharp rocks etc. The feet on my chair are rectangular, approximately 13" apart front to back and 15" apart side to side. Good product!!

Fits perfect to inexpensive generic chinese camp chairs sold by different brands, though still the same manufacturer, I believe, the only differences are price and logo. So if your chair with 14-15 inches wide legs - just right. And it's small enough to go a chair bag, that's better than 4 tennis balls I used before. The only con - it doesn't feet chairs with narrow legs like R.E.I. 11 inches - I will have to narrow this mat by 2 inches from each side with stitches. This mat is 3 times cheaper than BA/He...x, with the same quality, so it's a great buy. I will buy 2 more soon.Updated in July 2018: used these mats for Helinox Chair One (Elite) and Chair Zero, both work fine on sandy beach and grass.

Bought one of these 15x15 mats for my CliQ chair and have been very happy with it. Now I’ve bought a few more chairs and need a few more mats but they’ve been ‘unavailable” for more than a year. I keep checking g back but they are still “unavailable”. Please make more!

I purchased this chair mat for the Helinox Chair Zero knowing it was not designed for it and would be a bit to large as noted in other reviews.This mat is well designed using tough material and is well sewn. I believe will last a long time. I am happy with the cost of $11 versus $30 for the one designed for the Chair Zero. Yes this mat is not the exact size to properly fit in both directions. the long side is correct but the short side is a bit longer for the Chair Zero. I have found that it works will and keeps me from sinking too far into the sand. If you are good at sewing a 1/2" to 5/8" "Z" fold in the short direction will tighten up that dimension to make it fit perfectly. I will give this a try. I need to purchase some strong thread before I try it.I have included a picture to better show the issue with the Chair Zero fit. Again, I use it this way and have had no issues with excessive settling.Great mat for the price. Would recommend 100%, would purchase again, and will.

I bought this sand cover for my Onetigris camp chair. It is a very good fit and keeps my chair from sinking and getting the legs stuck. Seems durable enough to last for its intended purpose. This is something most of these style camp chairs should come with in the first place since this is a obvious week point for most.

I bought the Trekology chairs after seeing a number of YouTubers using them. I am a heavier guy and I liked that they were rated for more than my weight. However, previous experience told me to be cautious about the legs especially on hard surfaces where they might splay out over time and either weaken or break. This sand mat seems to be the perfect solution. Once installed it holds the legs together, stopping them from spreading out and possibly breaking. And of course, it is great on sand and other soft surfaces. I honestly have not used my chairs all that much but I feel much better about them lasting for a long time now that I have added these sand mats. And good news, the mats are compact enough they can roll up and store in the same bag with the chairs.

It does what it's supposed to do and is a very good price for it.
