As one reviewer stated, the clips at the top of the keyboard were not quite right; this is the second replacement for the A54C model laptop and it was somewhat difficult to install this replacement as the clips were a smidgen "off" in their size.Additionally, the keys are not all nice and level across the expanse of the keyboard; they're also situated higher by a slight amount in relation to the base - not a deal breaker, but it's not a "smooth", "quality" looking gadget. It DOES work and we're happy to have our <ENTER> & <BackSpace> keys working again.

works well. The picture implies the power strip plugs in off to the side but in fact both configurations of keyboard plug in straight up the middle. This one is only longer so be careful to order the right one. I only peeked under the keyboard and saw it was vertical and at first try ordered the wrong keyboard and the strip was too short. This one is longer and it folds over and also plugs in vertically as obviously my original did, once I took it all the way out. This one works fine.

I bought this keyboard for Asus laptop x54c. The description did say to check the ribbon because there are two types of keyboard for x54c. I did, and it matched the position of the original keyboard so i bought it. when it came the ribbon was not the problem. the clips do not fit my computer and so the top part doesn't lay firmly in the laptop because there is nothing there to hold it down.they asked me to send pictures and i did. They asking me to return it but for me that isn't feasible as i live in Jamaica and to pay int'l shipping will be the same or more that i paid to clear the package to receive it. i would prefer use the money i would pay to return it to just buy a new one from a different seller as i would pay to send it back and pay to receive the new one. waste of my money and time.i am so upset!!!

Before I had purchased this wonderful new keyboard, my old one repeatedly had stuck keys, I could not type on the number pad, and out of all possible letters, I was missing the all too essential "s" key! Once I had purchased this, it came right away - The shipping date was expected to take over a month, but I received it in under a week. It's in excellent condition, easy to put in, and looks and functions so much better than the build-in keyboard! I highly recommend it - It's very easy to install, and is amazing.

Some form of oil got into my keyboard, making it so any dialog box instantly looked like a meth head was having a seizure whilst typing. Bought this, thinking I was taking a chance on it fitting. Removal of meth head keyboard and installation of new NON-meth head keyboard was a breeze. This keyboard is great! I would highly recommend it. I really like the feel of the buttons on this keyboard over the factory one, and the meth head seizures are gone!!!

This new replacement keyboard makes laptop feel brand new. I inherited this laptop from my parents who were going to scrap it out. I plan to fix and resell. STAPLES was trying to charge my parents over $500 for replacement and said they'll need a new motherboard as well. good product and wished they made a back-lit keyboard replacement instead. Good product and would definitely recommend.

Bought this for my Asus Model X54C after the top row of keys (q - \) stopped working. Easy swap and after a few weeks, no issues. I would recommend this product.
