This shoe was marketed as a wide in sizing, so I expected the toe area to be wider than normal, however, ordering my normal size and wearing with thicker socks, I still found the heel area to be very large and therefore loose fitting. That is odd. Having a wider front portion of the shoe is welcome. Having a heel area that is slipping is just asking for a blister. The shoe feels overall as if it is stiff in the shank area and will require some breaking in, however the leather allows the foot to "splay" out when you are walking around. That is not normally seen in a work boot which are normally stiffer in those areas around the foot due to stronger material that is really about the protection. This is not a steel toe, so I didn't expect that, but I would expect a feeling of safety in a shoe touted as a work boot. I would hesitate doing work in this boot that required heavy object moving or anything using cutting tools such as a chainsaw as this shoe provides minimum protection. It looks stylish and therefore would be better suited towards looking as if you are working rather than actually doing the work. I would wear it for riding my tractor or my Zero turn as I like a work boot on when using those tools, but I don't expect to do too much other than the occasional getting off the equipment to move something or walk through some mud or muck. I would do that with these shoes and not have an issue.

These are definitely very nice and quality made boots.The sole and both outer leather, stitching, and inner lining are all great attentions to detail.The bottom has a bit of a lifted effect so it almost gives you some extra height.But boy are they bulky!I am not used to ordering wide specific shoes.So maybe it's just my unfamiliarity with the style/build of wide made shoes, but they look and feel a bit clunky. Besides the clunkiness ~they are very comfortable and fit well.The memory foam insole makes it cushioned enough while still providing support.I personally wish the laces would've been just a singular color in a neutral tone, but those are easily swapped out.The boots are oil, slip, abrasion, and acid resistant as well as electric hazard insulated.So they're perfect for just about any working environment or even just for everyday wear.

I got these boots for my adult son. They look really nice on him, and he says that they are comfortable enough to wear for several hours and would be great for standing for long periods of time. They are a bit stiff, but he says it feels like they will soften up with wear.The laces and hooks for the laces seem very strong and sturdy. These seem like good-quality boots that will last a long time.The size is great, especially the wide toe area. My son has wide-width feet and usually has to go up a size to make boots work, but these fit him perfectly at his actual size, making them more comfortable.Overall these seem like great boots that are comfortable and sturdy. Good for standing and working long hours, but they probably need to be worn in to get the most comfort out of them.

These leather work boots are truly wonderful! Not only are they well designed with comfort in mind, but the leather detailing is really attractive and stylish. The boots have a thick sole with an added insole inside the shoe for extra comfort, the leather is high quality and has a nice thickness, so there is extra protection in a workplace scenario- this should also give the shoe more longevity overall. The fit is as expected with a bit of extra room for a thicker sock or additional shoe insole. The tongue of the shoe is also padded, which is a nice touch since I know many work boots don't have this feature. The shoe laces are a good length, they're long enough to properly tie the shoe securely, but not so long that they drag on the ground. Overall, I'm really happy with these, they are a great value and stylish!

I'm not sure why it doesn't have steel toes but aside from that A very nice pair of boots for sure...This would no doubt be a five star review if the boots had steel toes.Aside from the lack of steel toes in the boots they are very nice indeed and very well made.Putting the lack of steel toes aside these boots are two thumbs (toes) up!Good day & God Bless...Randall M.
