Does not work.
One of the other reviews noted that there was an "original model" of this. Well, this one does not work at all for stubborn drains. Followed the instructions to the letter, even put a towel around the drain cap so it didn't make as big of a mess in the tub (thanks to one of the other reviewers for that tip!)...but that's about it. The can made a hiss noise, and and soon as I saw the puff of fumes, I knew my money just went down the drain. On to the next...

Works even on hardened grout!
The contractor that I had hired to remodel my bathroom screwed up and let grout get into the bathtub drain. A couple of days later, it had hardened and completely clogged the drain. Prior to trying the CLR Power Plumber Pressurized Drain Opener, I tried various chemicals, snakes and even Lye. None of them worked. I came to the conclusion that chemicals would not dissolve the grout and it needed to be physically flushed out. That's when I came across this product on the web. It took two of these pressurized cans to flush the grout out but it did the job very well. I made sure I sealed the overflow drain in the tub by placing a plastic sheet (ziploc will do fine) and screwing the cover back on. I then took out the drain push-pop cover and placed the can with the sponge accessory (included) into the drain. I pressed it in to release the compressed air into the drain. Held it for 4 - 5 seconds. As the compressed air comes out, it freezes after 5 seconds and you have to remove the ice and try again. It took me 5 - 7 tries and two cans before I was able to fully flush out the grout. I then ran hot water to make sure all of it was gone.I also used what was left of the second can on a slow drain in a bathroom sink and it cleared that up in just one shot.I highly recommend this drain opener - above and beyond any chemical products out there. Not only is it simple to use, fast and efficient but also environmentally safe.

At least I now know...
I've used the entire 15 applications in a double sink and while the back-up I get from one sink to other has improved a little, CLR has not resolved the issue. I used this many years ago on a single sink that was stopped-up and it worked great. This is the first time using in a double sink and am wondering if that's the difference.

Didn't work but still fun to use
Kind of like when you open Pillsbury Dough and it pops. This thing looks like a plunger when assembed. You press the opening to the top of the drain and press down. There is a "whoosh" followed by what appears to be steam. It uses some kind of super cold gas which forms ice arount the opening. It made a whole bunch of noise but it didn't clear anything. I imagine this would work better on a toilet clog than a sink. The head is very hard to position over a sink.

Messy But Works
I've used this to unclog my toilet two times. It worked when I'd tried everything else to no avail. I was worried after reading some of the bad reviews about the foam toilet adapter, but it didn't seem to affect performance. It does make a mess though, so you might want to drape a towel over the toilet opening as best you can while using it.Edit: I had to use this again this morning to unclog my toilet. It was harder to get it to work this time, but it did finally clear the clog. I wanted to share what I learned. The first five or so times I tried, all it did was shoot water out making a huge disgusting mess all over the floor an my legs. Finally, I adjusted the angle a bit (pointing it a little more downward) and it made a better seal in the toilet drain hole. No water shot out, and it finally got rid of the clog. So, if it doesn't seem to work at first, play with the angle a little to see if it will make a difference.

WASTE OF MONEY
I spent expensive $25 dollars on a product I was hoping to solve my problem. My bathtub went clogged just 4 days ago and did not seemed to be something very hard to solve. I followed all the instructions on the box for this product and after 4 unsuccessful applications, guess what??? The tube had gone empty! That was it, the only thing that went down the drain was my $25 dollars. But this history have a happy ending. Not satisfied to be stuck with this clogged bathtub that leaves your feet all the way dirty drowned I prepared myself a solution with Coke, vinegar, salt, vitamin C and boil it all together. It was the most acid thing I have ever seen, and guess what I poured out into the drain and unclogged everything! I recommend you that have a problem like that to use that solution and it will most likely work for you. Do not spend money on this thing.
