Great Deadbolt Gate Lock!Like photos and description!Easy install with stick-on positioning drilling diagram.Smooth operation both on outside key lock and with inside turn knob!Will say it's a bit pricy when compared to manufacturer's similar double-sided (twin cylinder) key lock version which is less than $20 . . . you'd think keying both sides would be more expensive to build. Minus a star for the price gouge!

Highly recommend. This is solid and works great for my situation. I have a metal gate that has a tendency to sag and I'm usually readjusting it periodically. I had a different keyed lock before but it would jam a lot and I sometimes would be locked in my backyard. The Gatemate 1490116 allows for the sagging of the gate and I have confidence in its operation for years to come.The only thing I didn't like is that the gate swings outward when it's unlocked. That's not the fault of the lock per se. But I remedied that with a second non-locking latch. This product worked great for about a week. Then it just stopped working. The key gets stuck and won’t turn all the way.

i have been looking for a shed door lock for a long time i went to all the hardwere stores including home depot and lowes,ace hardwere ,meeks lumber and a couple of other places and nobody has anything close like this lock.. This thing is awesome !!!!!!!! this thing is super super strong like wow!!! and it looks very nice from the outside very clean and simple and its like fort knox nobody is going to break in with this lock thats for sure .This is simply the best lock best looking lock i have ever seen hands down you will not be disappointed and it comes with 5 keys

Great lock big limitationsIt is well made, looks great, functions well and it looks and feels sturdy enough to last a lifetime. The big limitation is it cannot be rekeyed. We have two gates so each gate has to have its own key. I don’t think the product description makes this point clear.

This is an incredible door locking mechanism.I built extremely heavy duty swing out doors for my storage building, and use this for final security. I'm very impressed with the build quality and strength! I will definitely be buying more of these as I replace the rest of the old roll-up doors.
