Worth the money
Very impressed with this product, but cheap but worth the money - especially being wireless!! Battery life could be better but still pretty good. Very lightweight and is able to cut through long grass and thick weeds. I would reccomend

Bosch Cordless Grass Trimmer
The media could not be loaded. Review of the Bosch Cordless Grass Trimmer AdvancedGrassCut 36V-33, 36 Volt System, Brushless Motor,Pros: Plenty of powerCons: Short run timeExpensive batteriesAwkward to useDoesn’t have a split shaftHave an allotment and for 10 years been using a petrol strimmer and looking for replacement. I needed something to cut long and overgrown grass, particularly as this summer has been wet and grass is growing fast! This cuts about as good as the petrol strimmer. It cuts long grass no problem. It uses 2.4mm line which is supplied. Watch out for the “buy it with” on Amazon as it shows 1.5mm spool thread which is not ideal! The line when I bump the strimmer comes out fine. ( I buy strimmer line in bulk, if it gets old and is stiff and cracks, put it in a bucket of water will bring it back to being supple). What I don’t likeThe 2.0ah battery, don’t expect more than 15 minutes run time! Replacement batteries are expensive, expect to pay £100-£120 for one, watch out when buying to make sure one is included. It takes around 1:30 for full recharge. The battery weighs 707grams, when in the machine the balance point is in the middle, I find this make it awkward when strimming as the head with motor is heavy and so is always tipping down. It’s not balanced like a petrol strimmer where the weight is at the back and head is lighter, so take some getting used to.UPDATE 16 May 2024Nearly one year on from purchase and my thoughts on using it. Changing the strimmer line is easy, you line up the two arrows on the strimmer head, feed strimmer line in through the two holes and turn anti-clockwise to wind the line on the spool, see photo. I have had no issues with the line at all it feeds out fine when I bump it. The battery over winter stayed full, and I don't notice any less run time, still get about 15mins. My only gripe is being 6ft tall, I really find the strimmer awkward to hold and manage, it really is uncomfortable to use. I feel I would be better with a strimmer that has the motor, with the battery and not by the strimmer end. I also would prefer the split shaft as carrying it about is awkward.

the Bosch Garden Strimmer had been previously opened and retaped.
The original carton 6cm wide tapes sealing the box had all been previously cut. The carton had then been resealed with 2.5cm tape. The contents appeared new shiny and clean, but the instruction brochures and other papers were a little crumpled, and the battery appeared dusty. With some doubts about this situation, I decided to try it, so I assembled it and charged the battery. When I tried it out, after one to two minutes the spool head and 3 other parts fell off into the grass. I looked through the instructions for advice but found none for this situation. I replaced the 3 parts in the only sequence that made sense and tightened the spool head by hand as there is no bolt head to tighten. The head and 3 parts fell off as soon as i turned the power on.Only by reversing the instruction about taking the spool head off to replace with a brush cutting blade, using an allen key to hold the assembly whilst I hand tightened the spool could I proceed.I am now prepared to give the strimmer another go, but I am very unhappy about this situation, and I write this now in case there are further problems.

Impressed
I found the product reliable and effective. Easy to operate and worth the money.

Battery Life
Excellent product with one exception the battery life with the smaller size battery supplied is abysmal. On relatively short grass 15 minutes is about your max but on longer grass as shown in the Bosch sales video 10 minutes or even less is all you are going to get.

Only quickly checked that it worked, it's rained every day since it arrived two weeks ago !!
It seems OK. Does not fold smaller, so storage could be a problem ! Well made.

Replacement spool and wire unavailable
In the height of the summer a replacement spool and wire is unavailable. Two months have passed and no one including Bosch can help. Making thus product unusable. Seller not replying to my contact. Useless product, appalling aftercare. Product and seller should be discontinued.

Sore on battery
Don’t expect to get anymore than 15mins on a 2ah battery. Apart from that on power with petrol equivalent and light weight.
