Merax MS036323BAA Falcon Full Suspension Mountain Bike Aluminum Frame 21-Speed 26" Bicycle

I recently purchased this bike and it was easy to assemble with the instructions and online videos. I had issues with the derailleurs and the front gear shifting properly. I contacted the seller, Western United and not only did they get back to me the next day but they offered to refund any costs associated with getting the bike fixed at one of my local bike shops. I took it to a shop where they were able to get everything working. I sent a copy of the receipt to Western United and they processed a refund the next day! I have taken the bike on a few rides now and I couldn't be happier with its performance. The reviews are correct about the seat, but other than that it is a great bike for a beginner. I did a lot of research on mountain bikes for beginners, and this bike was on all of the lists, and after riding it a few times I know why. This is a great bike and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a new bike, plus the customer service received from Western United was fantastic!

this is the best bike I have owned very easy riding for a 68 yr old retired man I love the way it softenes the bumps especially since does such a crappy job of maintaing the streets here

Nice bike. Easy to assemble. Has no issue with my 245 pound frame.The suspension is nice change from the typical solid frames.

This thing lasted 6 months before I gave up on it. The brakes broke after 4 months. This was the biggest waste of $185 I ever made!

Item came defective. We made the mistake of throwing away the box it was delivered in and so we couldn't return it and seller wouldn't send us another box. Big fiasco. Made in China.

The bike looks great but when I was putting it together I noticed that the front wheel had a broken spoke on it

When I bought the bike under this link in 2017, what was sold was a road bike "Merax 608XC 21 Speed 700C Aluminum Road Bike Racing Bicycle", not the mountain bike now, so be wary of unrelated reviews.With that bike there were some issues: the handwraps are flaking, the tires that came with fell apart within a year and the rear axle bends when I press on the pedals strongly, which makes it press against the frame and slow down. That is the only issue that wasn't trivial to fix so far, and the reason why i'm taking off a star. But overall, I was still happy with the bike (and its price), and honestly if you get a any new bike for $200, expect to spend another $100 on fixes soon.
