Just building my 1st Murphy style bedIt’s not difficult providing one thinks it out priorClearances for the mattress etcA local wood merchant cut the wood to order slightly over length so I could cut ends so everything worked nicelyThis mech is strong , use a 25mm spade hole cutter on drill for the sunken in pivot part of the mech this also adds strengthEDIT : returned as a tad hard to put back up this 5 spring is really for a side fold down eg long edge stays along wall / landscape , I’ve ordered the x9 spring version as my bed short edge stays along wall portrait fold down version
