Q: Full length curtains, has anyone used this for heavier lined curtains? It says it should hold 50kg which would be plenty, but does it work?

We used the 'extra long' curtain poles which were rated up to 10-15kg for a 4m+ span. The pole sagged in the middle so I rigged up a centre 'support' strap to bring it back in-line. I suspect 50kg would overwhelm the friction poles unless you're using the shortest possible poles. They are decent quality and did hold up the light weight thermal curtains we wanted for our bi-fold doors, but I would suggest that for a span of any length you'll need to rig up some form of central support.
