I wish you the success I had!The items are a phone holder, a suction cup with an adjustable arm, an air vent clip, a two-wire organizer a clear instruction manual, and a wet/dry wipe.Clearly from all the details provided in the advert, the suction cup will not work on any dashboard - the dashboard has to have a flat section and cannot be leather or a rough surface with deep lines. If the HTU Cell Phone Holder does not adhere to your dashboard you can still attach the suction cup to your window (although this will result in an area where you will lose some vision) or you can use the air vent clip.I tried to mount it on my dashboard. The end result is a very stable mount. If you plan to use this part instead of the vent mount, make absolutely sure that you have a completely flat surface on your dash that’s sufficient size for the mounting.So far I have used the air vent clip - it attaches well in the car and the phone is solid in the fitting. The controls of the phone can be set above the clamps in the holder - so the phone is usable. The visibility for the phone in this position is good and there is no blocking of vision (which would occur with a windscreen attachment). I have not done a rough drive yet - but if the holder is adjusted to rest on the dashboard the phone is stable and can be viewed by both the passenger and driver.I initially tried this as a window-mounted configuration, and when I tried to remove the suction cup, it took me several tries to actually get it off. The cup does have a sticky substance on it that helps hold the mount in place for longer amounts of time.Just beware that If you move it around a lot, the suction power of the suction cup may weaken, but you can clean the suction cup with water and it will regain its original suction power, which I tried and it did.The mount is easy to manipulate if you want to change from portrait to landscape for map/GPS applications. The mount is also well padded at points where it contacts the phone, and the holders on the mount extend to a very wide width for large phones. It holds my large phone with a case, very securely with plenty of room to spare for larger phone models.I like that the mount has two release buttons on the side to expand the mount clamps when you want to remove your phone. The buttons are large and wide and can be easily touched, depending on where you have the mount, so be sure to leave some room to push the button so you can easily remove your phone when needed.All in all, a great product for the price. The media could not be loaded. This product was easy to install, provided cleaning wipes to ensure grip. It didn’t take me more than 5 minutes I would say. I took it out on my first trip today and it held really well despite the rough roads. I didn’t notice any rocking or the phone moving. For reference, it held an iPhone 16 pro max. I like the quick release buttons for an easy dismount of the phone. Although a bit pricier than other phone mounts on this website, I think it is worth it. I added a video just showing that it didn’t budge much when I was shaking it, it had pretty good adhesive.
