Beautiful to view
I have a dozen Seiko watches from 40 years old to a few years old and this on is by far my favorite. It is just a neat watch to have and use. It will some educating yourself to use the dials and features, but besides all of that, just having it as a daily watch is a pleasure.

Absolutely gorgeous watch! I ordered and tried more than 4 different watch brands, watch faces, styles etc in the same price category and always felt like something was missing with those watches. Ended up returning those watches. Decided to give this one a try and I am keeping it! It has a perpetual calendar, which I think is very unique, the white face just stands out and the watch looks good with both casual and dressed up. You can't go wrong with this watch. I highlt recommend it to anyone looking for a expensive looking, unique watch.

The bracelet is bit small. i went to couple of jewelry stores to get an additional peace for a bracelet, and could not find it anywhere. Also tried on line, and there is nothing available...not very happy about it.

A nice dress watch slightly spoilt by quality issues
The SPC123P1 is a nice looking watch with a textured white face, silver indications, hour and minute hand, a black second hand on its own dial and blue day/date ans alarm hands. It has a stainless steel body and bracelet with a deployment clasp.PROS: The blue hand look lovely in bright light but the silver hands can be a bit difficult to see in those same conditions. Features include Day, Date & Month with perpetual calendar until 2100, an alarm, a 24 hour stop watch function and a nicely polished bezel. Text is sharp, well defined and easy to read.CONS: A couple of quality issues include poor alignment of the indicator hand when displaying or setting the +2 and +3 leap year. In +3 the hand sits between +2 and +3 suggesting the position of the text is miss-aligned. The deployment clasp rattles which can be both alarming and annoying. The box is far too small to accommodate the watch on its cushion and the manuals that come with it. This smacks of penny pinching on Seiko's part. Its a nice timepiece but people looking for a watch where attention to detail is important may find the quality issues unacceptable.

Good, solid Seiko - as always!
As always with Seiko, a good solid watch which I would expect to last for many years.I particularly wanted a watch with electric quartz movement, rather than mechanical (requiring motion), solar etc. I also wanted a perpetual calendar - although quite complicated to set up, it's OK once you have the hang of it, and hopefully, it will not need doing again!
