Tyjtyrjty 2 Pack 940 Printhead Replacement for HP940 Print Head C4901A for HP Officejet Pro 8000 8500 8500A 8500A Plus 8500A Premium (Magenta/Cyan,Black/Yellow)

I purchased these printheads because my HP Officejet Pro 8500 was losing color when printing and had blank streaks across the printed documents both in color and black & white. Rather than paying $160 for the pair of printheads from HP, which was more than a replacement printer, I tried these at a fraction of the cost for both. They were easy to install and fixed my problem. Well worth the money.

I replaced printhead aligned machine. Printhead didn't work. Opened other package and this printhead worked and is still working. So I received a good one and a not so good one. Too much aggravation to send one back

These print heads are an excellent value. The print quality is exactly the same as HP branded print heads at a fraction of the price. They were well packaged and arrived on-time as promised by the vendor. They were recognized by my Officejet Pro 8500 and installed without any problems. I have not rated longevity since they were just installed; however given the extremely low price it's a minor consideration.

Defective, Printer would not recognize print headsMessage: missing or damaged print head. After several attempts I was able to get the printer to accept 1 the Black / Yellow of the 2 print heads The Magenta / Cyan print head would not work at all.I attempted to contact seller explaining the situation who responded with a canned reply of pdf instructions.This is not the first set of print heads I have had to replace so the canned response was not helpful. I ordered another set of generic print heads a different seller and brand. That set worked and aligned on the first try. Its an old printer and for the cost of genuine HP print heads I would have bought a new printer if the second set of print heads had not worked.

I ordered the print heads and ink cartridges but the HP printer does not recognize the non- HP replacementsThe printer kept cleaning the heads and doing the printhead alignment over and over than msg say FAIL.The few times I was able to get it to print the copies Were light not terrible copiesThe printheads did think it was a HP replacement but really cannot give a recommendation because the copies were very light.I E mail the 3 rd party and their response was to clean the chip with a pencil eraser but didn’t work and responded as requested and didn’t hear back, don’t use them!!!I was so aggravated I purchase an Epson which has ink tanks you fill up with lights ink, a much better printer

I’m honestly surprised these worked considering how much cheaper than HP ones are. All I did was take them out of the package, shake them 6 times like the real ones, then remove the plastic covers, wipe off the part where the ink comes out and dropped them in. The printer aligned them automatically and they worked perfect. No issues at all!

Excellent quality product saved lots of money only used for short period of time so longevity is still pending . HP printer designated printheads as genuine . Just like the original HP printerheads.

I purchased these print heads with the understanding they would work with my HP printer. After installing them, the printer attempts to adjust the heads every time I attempt to print. They do not work. I have tried to trouble shoot them with no success.
