Decent earbuds, durability problem.
I got these to upgrade from my Sony Fontopia earbuds. The K 313s are excellent in high range, but the bass response made me wish I spent the extra $20 for the bass boost version. The buds fall out easily. I'm replacing them with a pair of Sennheisers (CX400), which I bought for $25. They seem like a better deal, we'll see how they work.UPDATE: The Sennheisers deliver much better bass punch, but they require shoving down in your ear canal to sound good. This creates an absurd amount of noise from the cable rubbing. Stick with AKG, just spend more and get the in-ear version.UPDATE: 3 months later the right earbud stopped working. Considering the price and my limited usage of them, this is pitiful performance.

Pretty Good
I received these as a gift after my Sennheiser MX 471 stopped working after less than a year. I've also owned stock apple earphones and a variety of 10$ range earphones. These are definitely superior to your average earphones. They have a strong bass and midrange for non ear canal earphones. Since I can't stand ear canal earphones this is good news.I listen mostly to a lot of classical music, alternative, and rock. The highs are not as crisp or clear as I'd like them to be, certainly not as good as they were in my MX 471, but they're decent enough. And the MX 471 did not have as good of a bass and midrange. Takes a bit of sound equalizer tinkering and turning the sound really up to hear the highs well. Also, these earphones have a pretty powerful sound, and can deliver a volume far beyond my 10$ earphones' capability.I'm still searching for my perfect earphones, but for now these are pretty good.
