I purchased this rug October 2021. I use it for heavy traffic areas on my pink carpet and my 80 pound lab lays on it. It doesn't stay as flat as it used to (gets washed a lot) but after 4 1/2 years of dog and traffic...worth it!@

I purchased two rugs to layer on a larger rug in our dining room -- replacing some others that did not last at all. I wanted an elegant look and that is exactly what I got. These rugs are plush and silky. Our dining room is very sunny, so it is a favorite spot for our cats to bathe, sun, and snooze. They love the rugs, too. From experience, I knew it was only a matter of time before someone spilled or had a hairball on a rug (sorry... but it is true). It happened. I washed these rugs in cold water with detergent only (NO fabric softener). When removing from the washing machine, I vigorously shook them to fluff the fibers back out. Do this outside because water droplets will splatter. Then, I hung them to air dry. Once completely dry, I repeated a vigorous shake-out... and they look brand new!! I had considered purchasing "pet-friendly" rugs from other vendors, but at a much higher price and with mixed reviews, it was worth trying these. I am so glad I did. They are truly perfect for our household.

I wanted a "sheep skin" rug for my doggos. However, I did not want a product that another animal suffered and died for. I looked at dozens of fake sheepskin rugs but all of them had a suede backing. That means a cow or other animal suffered to make the product. Then I found this perfect product!When it arrived, it looked a bit flat and obviously fake. However, after my sweet old man dog, Buster, threw up on the rug, I was forced to wash it. I wasn't sure it would wash very well. However, after the wash I threw it into the dryer on low for about 15 minutes and then hung it to dry completely. After it dried, it was fluffy and softer and now it is hard to tell that it is fake. Good job, Buster!I ended up buying another one because we love it so much. With four dogs I will have to buy more because they argue over who gets to lay on the rugs. Love love love this product!!

Honestly this has far exceeded my expectations I really thought this would be a cheap temp. rug but it looks like we are going to keep it and get as much use out of as we can. My wife can't wait to cuddle on it in front of the fire place on it which i have to say is an unexpected bonus...

I live where it's cold in the winter, and the floor is really cold in winter. Given the three categories that I could rate this rug, I could only truly rate it for softness. It feels wonderful on my bare feet! It definitely helps keep some of the chill off. As far as easy to clean, We vacuumed it once with the vacuum hose and it was fine. So, I only gave it four stars for easy to clean, because we haven't washed it in the washing machine or spot-cleaned it yet. I really don't know about stain resistance, because hey, it's a black rug. If I have spilled coffee on it a little that I do not know of, it's camouflaged! I did want a small rug, and it is just right! Overall, I am very pleased with this rug. It does kind of look like the shape of a real bear rug. I recommend it.

This is fabulous! I was hesitant about it because I knew I would for sure need machine washable, but now that I have had to wash it three times, it holds up great with NO shedding. There was a tiny bit of fuzz in the washer, but nothing significant. I put it on LOW in the dryer for about 7 minutes and then lay if flat in the sun. It dries in about an hour. I would recommend maybe a dryer sheet in the dryer to make it a little softer and no static, but DO NOT add fabric softener. It makes is very limp, and loses its fluff. I have ZERO regrets on this purchase.UPDATE: Two years later, the backing has crumbled into dust. I had to replace it, but can’t complain with the use I got out of it.

This little rug is awesome! It lives in front of my bed - or on my side if you will - and it is wonderful. Here's why: Very, very soft. Does not shed. Does not attract dirt (like I go barefoot a lot and was worried it would get dingy looking). I use it for my simple yoga exercises and meditation. It is the first thing my feet touch in the morning, and it feel luxurious! I'm very, very happy to have made this purchase. I have not yet washed it, but will use the gentle handwash cycle and sundry it, then gently brush it. Why? I really love this little peace of engineered luxury - no guilt. Well done, manufacturers!
