I've purchased many of these label holders and am glad that they are available. I use them primarily on the outside of cardboard file boxes to tell me what's inside the box. Most people would just write on the outside of the box but that, to me, spoils the box when it comes time to re-label it for a different use. This way, I can just replace the label, usually an index card, and the box will still remain clean and pristine.

These things are great! They stick on well to both cardboard and plastic bins (make sure to clean the bin before applying the pocket). They hold standard index cards well and have held up through multiple index card changes.

I love using these for desk labels in my classroom. They’re just the right size for using index cards inside with my students’ names on them. They leave a bit of a tacky reside and tend to get a bit worn from little hand picking at them or iPads rubbing against them and have to be replaced before the year is up, but I still think it’s easier than anything else.
