Perfect size and security for traveling light
I bought this bag for a 3-week trip to Thailand and found it to be just the right size for what was necessary to me - phone, cash, passport, hand sanitizer, mints, and a few essential oils. It even fits a regular size bottle of water in the main compartment! I love how simple it is to lock it together and felt confident with the security. I wanted something that would be lightweight, allow me to be hands-free, and feel secure on my body (no flopping around while riding a bicycle or hiking). I travel light, so I didn't want a bag that would tempt me to buy and carry more things. This is what I take with me to street fairs and all my travels now - 8 months later. The only downside of this bag is that wearing it all one way and sliding it around your body can end up wearing your shirt a bit. The right side/armpit area of one of my thin travel shirts got some pills from the friction. I only took 3 shirts for 3 weeks, so it was worn a lot.

Great 1-day travel pack.
I take this sling with me when I travel around the city or to the outskirts of town. I use it to pack my geocaching equipment. I use it when I want to carry wallet, phone, keys, hand sanitizer, contact lens case, small bottle of lotion and artificial tears, and many other small items that I hate carrying around in my pocket. If I didn't have this sling, then I would have difficulty finding enough pockets to stay organized. The 150 is a small profile pack that I take everywhere. If I want to carry more or bigger items like sweater, umbrella, water bottle, and/or extra wool socks then I take my backpack instead. I can't take my backpack everywhere because it makes me look a tourist or a student. Some places I just like to keep a low profile pack like this pacsafe sling. As for the security features, I haven't had any problems. This pack could be helping me, but it's my actions that keep my belongings safe most of the time. Being vigilant and staying away from suspicious characters has gone a long ways for me. I will update this review if anything goes wrong with the sling or if a thug tries to mug me.Edit 8/6/17: I recently took this pack on a 5 week trip to Thailand and Sri Lanka. I don't keep anything in my pocket because I have this sling. I think it's low profile helps distract thieves. Nobody has tried to slash it yet. I have been approached by possible thieves and I noticed them scanning my bag for easy access or a way to get the bag off me. Again nothing has happened to me or the bag because the bag has no easy screws points. It also helps if you swing the bag to your front side in high people traffic areas and make sure you're avoiding unsafe situations or areas. I love this bag. It doesn't look touristy at all in my opinion.

Nicely Executed
This item is a great addition for times when you want a small and secure pack. Here's some of the features:Anti theft: Zippers are attached to security hooks. It is virtually impossible to unzip a compartment without fiddling with the hooks. The bag also sports antislashing technology, as well as a dual release shoulder strap buckle. Suffice it to say that it defeats most attempts at incorrigibles lifting your swag without your knowledge. Finally, it is RFID blocking, so attempts to scan and electronically pilfer information stored inside your bag will probably not meet with success.Compartments: The main compartment has the RFID defeating pocket, a pen loop, a key ring, and an inner zippered compartment with a clip. It comfortably holds my Nexus 7 with cover, a "junior" legal pad, pens, and assorted folded loose papers. The larger outer compartment can easily carry my iPhone with a few pens, while the smaller outside compartment can hold small items such as keys, an energy bar or two, and assorted small miscellany.Workmanship: This is easily the best quality bag I own. The thoughtful construction/design, padding, and attention to detail makes it a joy to use. I'm 6'4", and it fits my frame well, with straps extended to the max.Why not five stars? As noted in another review, I think the bag could have been engineered to hold a bit more. Also, it not being water resistant means one has to be thoughtful about its deployment on top of outer garments during inclement weather.Overall, I think this bag is great for those who do not need to carry a lot around, and is well constructed to indicate that one can reasonably use this for years to come. I am pleased enough with this item that I have begun looking at other merchandise from this manufacturer.

I'm small built and I can wear it snugly. The extra hook to hold the zipper was annoying at first but once you get the hang of it it wasn't that bad after all. I took this to Italy where we had to take trains and subways. 3 of my companions got pick pocketed. I didn't.The bag is pretty small. I took my credit card/ID/cash out of my wallet and used this bag as my wallet. It has a zippered pocket inside and that's where i put them. I was also able to bring a small first aid kit, hand sanitizer, phone, phone charger, charge cord. When I need to take stuff out of the pack I just swing it in front without taking it off. My husband was able to use this as well without a problem.

Good lightweight, mini rucksack/bag.
Generally a great product. I bought it for a trip to Rome. It's a decent size and you can fit a fair bit in there. For example, a couple of pairs of sunnies and a small wallet or a small bottle of suncream, wallet, keys etc.It feels pretty well made but be warned that it is designed to sit over one particular shoulder, so you'll need to get used to slinging over one way. It's nice and light and very comfortable to wear. It had no problems going through security at the airport with its wire mesh so don't worry about that. The internal Velcro pocket didn't really seem to be of a useful size where it was too small for an average wallet but that wasn't really an issue. The Velcro pocket is SSID safe which means that scammers can't scan your contactless devices whilst their inside. Like I said, it's a bit small for your average wallet though so either you'd need to keep contactless cards seperately in there or have a really small wallet.Other than that the security zips definitely provide a feeling of higher security where you'd feel someone tugging away if they were trying to undo them. No one tried to slash my bag open so I can't really comment on how effective the wire meshing is, but it's got to be better than nothing right?!

Fantastic!
An excellent product! Bought because of the great security features. Felt confident that our money and documents were safe as we walked around Rome during a recent holiday. Highly recommend this product.

If you want a bag that sits flat against your body... keep looking
Bought it to wear in front. But front or back, it won't sit flat against your body because of how the strap is attached. The bottom always gapes out away from the body. Ruined an otherwise good bag with features I wanted. Doesn't work as a waist belt either because of the strap. If you don't mind a bag that keeps twisting out at the bottom, it's a good bag.If you want a bag that sits flat against your body... keep looking

Just right for a minimalist traveller
This is the second Venturesafe 150 GII I own. The first was a brighter colour and I felt a black is better for my current travels. I have used it for about 5 years. Here's why it is great apart from all the anti theft tech you would associate with a Pacsafe product. I often don't feel the need to carry a backpack. In many museums and attractions, having a backpack means you have to store it in a locker. The Venturesafe doesn't have that issue. I store my compact camera, a small portable battery, all my important documents and money, and other small essentials. That is frequently all I need when I travel. In the occasion where I have to bring an umbrella, I just clip it to the bag and let it dangle. What is also worth nothing is the fact that it is padded without having those horrible "breathable" abbrasive textures that wreck your clothing. I have used mine against all kinds of clothing without suffering from peeling and frayed clothing.

What you don’t know, may not bother you...
I bought this based on the sale price of under $50CAD.I would buy from this vendor again, they had great customer focus and proactively communicated an unforseen shipping delay.I have the first generation of this product, and this is where I base my product review. If you have never had one of the originals, this is a good bag, plenty of space for a couple of 8" class tablets and stuff. Quality zippers and buckles, should outlast the chosen fabric. This is where I have been disappointed the most. The fabric of the current gen2 of this product is cheap in comparison to the original quality that this brand is now riding on. While the wire mesh skeleton may prevent slashing and vandalism, this new material won't last through the typical abuse that sling bags of this nature typically go through. I should not have to pamper this like a fragile high fashion ornament. It just won't survive abrasion and random sharp keys you may put inside.Fabric aside, there used to be a rubber cable port that is no longer present, and the "hidden" zippered pocket that existed on the back where you could put your more valuable travel documents, is also gone.Is it worth the sub $50CAD price? Yes. Average $85CAD price, not anymore.

good bag with decent storage for a bag this size ...
I've been using it for a couple of months now. Overall, good bag with decent storage for a bag this size and orientation. I like the security clips for the zippers as well as the meshed pocket for protection. I wanted something that was able to hold an iphone 6 plus along with keys, small change pouch, and even a water bottle (if necessary). It's capable of holding more. Good padding along the shoulders although, like another person said, not much room for the padding to breathe on your back so on a warm day, you get sweaty.

Ottimo prodotto!

Mfg Jack
