Works well, excellent value, built well, and you get two for what I would pay for one!
Works great, seems like a very sturdy connection on the USB-C side, worried it might wear out my phone's port, just very snug. Definitely louder on my laptop than the built-in headphone jack, can't explain that. Might actually be better quality audio. I'm definitely going to use it more when I'm listening on my Framework 13 vs. using Bluetooth if I can help it. It's currently driving a pair of KZ ZSN Pros with thick foam eartips. Originally just bought these thinking they were bare wire connections, but it's a full on little DAC chip hiding in there! Would recommend.

Almost Perfect
I purchased a Google Pixal 2 and was disappointed to find that it had no headphone jack. I only have 1 pair of bluetooth earbuds but a dozen pairs of heads-free earbuds and wanted a way to keep using them. These converters seemed like the perfect solution. They look and fee very sturdy. The wires have good insulation and I'm not worried about fraying. The USB doggle fits snuggly into my phone and hasn't disconnected in the 2+ weeks I've been using it. The headphone jack port is also a good fit with no looseness to it.The audio translates extremely well through the converter. My music actually sounds better then when I was just using a headphone jack straight from a phone. My first few calls using it coupled with a heads free headphone set with microphone had the people on the other end of the call saying they had a hard time hearing me. But since then I haven't had any complaints. It was probably coincidence and not connected to the converter. My only true complaint is that when I have the convert plugged it with headphones and I get a call, my phone will ring audibly from the phone as well as through the headphones. It's like my phone doesn't quite recognize that it should be sending all audio through the converter. This doesn't happen when I'm using bluetooth headphones. It's a minor complaint though.Overall I would recommend these converters. They are a lot cheaper than bluetooth and they work great!

Disappointing, Was expecting it to last longer +updated+
Sound quality was good, length was fine, just a bit difficult to wrap up with headphones attached, it seemed rather fragile to store not fully extended. Connected to the phone perfect, rather tightly actually however the other end was not so much. Headphones could easily pull out of it I had to adjust it often. Just the other night I mistakenly pulled it out of my phone by the corded part of the adapter and not the connector like I usually do and the plug stayed stuck in my charging port.I don't know if it was because of that one incident but as I said I was very careful with it for the 3 weeks I used it and no more than a few hours at a time. It seemed to develop connectivity issues such as when the cable would move if I bent down with the device in my pocket it would pause my music constantly and it was really touchy even though I checked the connection each time.It was cheap so I didn't know what to expect, maybe it was a bad one I don't know but from my experience it just wasn't totally reliable and I constantly felt like I had to be delicate with it. So overall would I try again? No.Update: again I used for LESS TIME than before, it broke at the same spot. Sorry, I gave support a chance at the replacement. Don't buy this

They're okay. Definitely worth the price.
I don't have much to compare, I own a Fiio BTR3k, which sound perfect through USB-C. I bought these because I wanted something cheap, lightweight and "good enough" that I wouldn't have complaints... obviously I have complaints.I have to preface by saying I have no issues with the volume gain. I have to turn the volume down below 40% on my Audio Technica M40x and even lower on my Grado SR80e. Naturally, I have to turn it up on my AKG K240, but probably no more than about 50% so I would think these could drive headphones as high as 120 ohm impedance. Now my first complaint is on the actual build quality/material that is used. The connectors are fine, they're metal and durable. My problem is the small cord between the connector ends. It is very thin, even thinner than most headphone cables. So it will bend a lot if you put your phone in your pocket, over time this will likely be the main point of failure. A thicker, stiffer cable would be more desirable for longevity. My other complaint is on the sound quality. This is the main thing you want to not be affected. So it's why I am giving 3 stars and not 4. Unfortunately, the DAC seems to not be very great. I get the same issue on both units that came in the pack, so I doubt it's a defect. There seem to be random artifacts in the audio, which sounds like popping noises and when first plugging in, the audio will skip a bit. The artifacts seem to be less frequent the longer you are using them, or maybe your brain just kind of tunes it out after a few minutes, but it's there. I think the skipping audio is partly to due with how Android routes audio, but I think it's also partially the device itself. That said, would I recommend these? I mean, they're probably better than most other things in this price range. And like I said, the artifacting sounds like it goes away after a while. If you're using this in a noisy environment, that will probably not be an issue anyway. The other obvious downside is you can't charge your phone while listening to music unless it has a second USB-C port dedicated for charging.
