King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table

three boys 4-8year olds...a bit tough to read from the old English and a bit lengthy, but also maybe because we have been reading many books about knights before hand.

If you like Arthurian stories you'll like this.

The quality of the book and the illustrations by N. C. Wyeth are very good, but the writing style is so dated that it is hard to read.

The archaic language this book uses makes it nearly inaccessible. I have to translate on the fly when reading it to my kid, but there are too many times where even I simply can't make heads or tails of a particular sentence or paragraph.

Very poor writing style, not a good introduction to King Arthur's tales.
