Welcome to Kemet!
Alright so I can't speak for any of the other "Assassin's Creed" games because I never played any of them. The combat always looked too jumpy it reminded me of those Batman games everyone loves. It just looks ridiculous to me. Back to the Point!Assassin's Creed Origins is a masterpiece! and pretty damn historically accurate, and feels alive. The Ptolemaic Dynasty is in full swing and the people of Egypt are getting the sh!t end of the stick. Surprise, surprise...The game is simply beautiful and at times breathtaking, the level of detail and time that went into this is commendable. It's having me consider going back and trying the other games from the beginning. The Story is quite gripping, all the characters, even random NPC's have a life of their own. Nothing has fallen flat, I've experienced no glitches or bugs, thats always a plus. I took a chance and purchased the Gold edition of the Game, risky risky..I made a mistake doing that with "The Division" but this time it payed off. No regrets! My only issue with the game is at times the target locking is jumpy. For some reason I doesn't target an enemy closest, it can become an issue when I'm fighting several people at once. But I always manage. it's not that big of an issue to give it a lower rating for that reason. Buy this game!

Gorgeous game!
Pre-ordered this game from Amazon, and they delivered on game release day! (Oct. 27). The Steelbook is nice but definitely could be better quality. I may be biased having never purchased a steelbook edition of a game but I expected it to be more steel than plastic if you know what I mean. Also Amazon offered a great deal on these games prior to release (20% off all editions I believe; in my case list price 110, I got it for about 90 + tax).An amazing game, truly an improvement on the Assassin's Creed style of game play. It's definitely a lot more like an RPG, such as the Witcher 3 but the new combat system is similar to that in For Honor. This definitely isn't the relatively easy combat system gamers are used to from previous Assassin's Creed games; fighting requires a strategic approach when there are large groups of enemies and it's much easier to take on 1-3 versus 5+ enemies at once. The introduction of the bow and arrow as a ranged weapon is also very nice! The new gear system is similar to that of Destiny/Destiny 2, where you can pick up new weapons, switch as you please, collect materials for upgrading some gear, and even dismantle gear for supplies. The sheer size of the in-game world is truly epic. I am nowhere close to being done with this game, and forsee myself playing it for quite some time to come. Bayek is an interesting guy and Ancient Egypt is a fascinating place that I can't wait to continue to explore!P.S. Ubisoft included a handy-dandy photo mode in game, to capture all the beautiful scenes/cool shots of Bayek. On the in-game map you can even view photos taken by other players. Pretty awesome!

By far one of the best games out there
By far one of the best games out there, the map is HUGE with so many side quests and areas to "discover" it will blow your mind. Be ready to devote a ton of time if you're a completionest, just got the platuim after lil over 80 hrs of play time. Rumor of a glitch out there that at point of game ,playing as Aya for a main quest,if you do anything besides the quest you wont get trophy Old Habbits. So to be safe stick to the script. My opinion or way I played through was to clear as many things as I could before going on to next main quest ,i.e. looting all the ? mark areas, view points, side quests etc.Personal tip without giving away any spoilers, point when you can shop at Nomad's Bazaar , I wouldn't recommend the 3K gamble to get legendary items. I dropped 18K and didn't get a single legendary item but some quests and side quests you do. Also can't stress enough to explore areas to find items in chests to sell (do not break them down you need $$ more) so you can upgrade your legendary items that you will get.Upgrading those items is expensive but worth it ,recommend lvl'ing them up about every 5 lvl's. Season pass is already at work with a limited time "God" battle .As of this post just 3 days left with more coming to complete a legendary Anibus outfit.Theres also helix credits you can buy to get legendary items among other things to help you progress faster through the game,if you go that route best value is $19.99 for 2400 helix unless you want to buy every legendary item offered but isn't needed. Now for the spolier....Han Solo does die!

Awesome game, but the company...
Excellent game that fixes most of the problems that previous AC games had with fighting and running in tight spaces, like climbing up a wall when you're trying to run between objects. The world is massive like Skyrim and even more beautiful. The only area that I didn't like has more to do with the political direction that UBI soft is heading in it's disclaimer at the beginning and how it shows dates in the game. It's stripping any reference to religion out and adding gender identity stuff in. In previous games they always said that the were a diverse group of different religions and beliefs, which made sense due to the heavy religious natures of the content in the games. Now they have stripped religious comments and added gender and sexual orientation, which has nothing to do with anything the game. This is very unfortunate because it looks like they are getting political, again as it has no correlation to the game at all but political. Also they are using BCE and CE for dates, changing it from how everyone records years as BC and AD. If you look up why this is done on wikipedia, it's solely done to remove any reference to God. What a shame, I've own all the AC's since 2 and have always supported the series, but am questioning that now.
