I have used the dean markley wooden blocks for years with my acoustic, with limited success. This pickup works much better, provides fuller sound with all my amps, and has the tone & vol controls neatly accessible. It stays in place, installation was easy. I am getting another one for my other acoustic. I installed the jack in my tail block button, so it is very easy to use. For this price, this pickup is really worth it, and looks good too. no more crappy wooden blocks from DM.

My husband has one of these for over a year now, installed on a fender guitar....works great, sounds great...he likes likes the volume and tone control.....

In general this is a great looking great sounding product and well thought out. I like the fact that both tone and volume are adjustable and that the controls are 'out of sight keeping the appearance clean and classic. If there Is a negative, it would be that the pole pieces are non adjustable. I would have preferred it had that feature, particularly in getting more volume from the E (1st ) string.

Who designed this??? Why did they put the two center pickup magnets so close to the string's? I returned it.

I've bought and tried several pickups on my acoustic guitars, and none worked as well as this one. great sound, volume buttons work well, and easy to install. it took me 5 minutes. excellent product.

It was easy to install ,but would like more volume

I like everything about this product except...It has that prominent B string thing going. A lot of sound hole pickups have this issue tho. I have an old Lane Poor pickup that allows some adjustment of the pole under the B string and it installs at an angle so the high strings dont dominate the low strings. The Lane Poor isnt perfect so I was hoping to find something modern that had a better sound.

I have a Taylor GS Mini and the pole pieces are definitely too close to the strings. Unusable, returned

Product exactly as described and great sound!

For the price, you will be surprised. It sound realy nice. and it's easy to install. Only one complain, a little bit noisu when use with distortion.

No intention on diminishing the product at all when I say, "For the price!. It's just that you shouldn't expect the best sound even comparing to other products in the Market.It worked great bringing an old Simon & Patrick guitar to be plugged in! Sound is pretty good, it catches the highs and lows but it would be great to give more control. But nevertheless, I have no issues with this product.

The good:- fits snug- easy installation- tone control is a good additionThe bad:- average sound quality, bit muddy, lacks warmth and brightness in sound.- never try on electric guitar amps!Recommend?- Only if you have an acoustic amp.- if your guitar lacks electric output, sell it and get one that has preamp built in. These 3rd party add-ons are always going to lack acoustic integration. You will never be fully satisfied.

Fits perfectly on my Ovation. Sound quality is top-notch. Easy installation.
