A must for brand new phones that support quick charge 3.0 like my Galaxy S8
The media could not be loaded. A very nice upgrade from my previous Anker 24W dual USB car charger. I originally bought the 24W charger when I first got my Galaxy S6 2 years ago and this charger has been brilliant since then. However, as I recently upgraded to the Galaxy S8 I needed something more. This charger was sent out to me at the perfect time.Design: the design is well rounded I'd say. It's bigger than standard car chargers but not huge as you'll see in the video. Also the size is what makes it better in my opinion as the spacing between the 2 USB ports makes it perfect for when you need to plug 2 cables in. So no matter what size the cables are they will both fit in comfortably no issues. I love the look (black and blue is my favourite) and its a really nice feeling charger.Quality: the quality is right up there. It's a really solid build that I know will last me fine just like the previous one I had. The USB ports are perfect fits and this was the main thing for me: it supports quick charge 3.0. As you'll see in the video, when I plugged this in and connected it to my Galaxy S8 using a good quality USB C cable (from Inateck) it actually said it was fast charging the phone. This is the first time I've plugged any of my galaxy phones since my S6 where a car charger was able to fast charge my device. This is an automatic win for me and anyone with a brand new phone that supports quick charge who has a car should buy this.Price: the price is a bit more than standard chargers but as I said previously - you can't beat the charging speed. You are getting your moneys worth here and actually paying for what you get.Overall a great quality product with a design I love and functions as stated. Please check out the video for more, or you can view it on my YouTube channel "Techtiq" for better quality.

Great car charger
I purchased this dual port charger to replace a cheap eBay product. I own a number of Anker products and have never been disappointed by the value and quality of their products. The charger certainly gives an instant impression of a premium product. It arrived nicely packaged and out of the box has a nice amount of weight in the hand. The carbon fibre ring that surrounds the two USB ports and the soft blue USB ports compliments the premium look and feel of this charger. Once plugged in, the USB ports provide a soft blue glow to make it easier to find the ports at night. The charger is built with a temperature control and surge protection which is one of the reasons I purchased it to replace a cheap eBay charger. Secondly, it supports Quick Charge 3.0 which is a must if you own a modern smartphone. There is also a PowerIQ system which works by delivering the fastest possible charge to non-quick charge devices but does so safely without causing damage to the battery or internal components. Lastly, the maximum output of 39W means that you will be able to charge your devices at full speed.I have charged my Google Pixel XL numerous times with this charger and it charges at the same speed as the original wall socket Pixel charger. I have also used it to charge an Nvidia Shield Tablet and Sat Nav and as expected it works flawlessly.I would certainly recommend this Anker charger and in my opinion, the higher price tag compared to similar products is worth paying for guaranteed quality.

Quality solid build, well worth the money.
Already owning the 4 port standard charger from Anker [ https://www.amazon.co.uk/Anker-Charger-PowerIQ-Technology-Motorola/dp/B00WI0MVP2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1497694795&sr=8-2&keywords=anker+4+port+car+charger] I and being pleased with it's performance I was interested to see if the Quick Charge function from this charger would make the difference and am pleased to say it does. There's a compatibility list to go with charger but I'm happy to say my Huawei P9 [which is not on the list] and my Samsung S6 Edge which is capable of fast charging both charged noticeably quicker. As usual with Anker products, the build quality is really very good. The unit is very robust with a professional level feel, unlike cheaper chargers there's no obvious place you could crack this unit open [if you're like me and look for these sort of things]. There's a knurled finish to the rim around the rim of the charge ports that gives it not only a nice grip to remove it from the car port with but also an almost carbon fibre finish.Whilst not obvious when plugged in during the day there's a nice blue backlight to the two charge ports that make them clear to see in the dark.Very happy with it little unit and it's fast charge ability. If you've been wandering about which one to get, steer clear of the overly cheap generic chargers that generally come in white with a million and one attachments and just get one of these; you might need to use your own cables but you won't regret going for this and it's quality build.

Good charger, could be better
This is a fairly good charger for your car. I purchased this brand as I have purchased items from them before and I find them if good quality. The charger works well, and I have charged 2 devices at the same time and not noticed a slower charge. The charger is made of a nice material and looks and feels good. My only issue if any are the blue lighting. This seems to remain on regardless of whether the charger is being used or not. This can be slightly annoying as I feel it is an unnecessary drain on my car battery. I also have to unplug the charger when I turn my car off as otherwise the v blue charger lights remain on and I'm fearful that I may be draining my car battery when not in use. If I was to redesign this charger, I'd add a handy switch to it. This would be useful and mean I do not have to keep removing it. Overall a good product nonetheless.
