Jeff Green Men's Harstad Breathable Waterproof Outdoor Functional Jacket 12,000mm water column

a nicely made and designed waterproof coat with lots of pockets and a decent style....however....sizing leaves alot to be desired. I am an XXl and thats what I ordered, what arrived said XXl but was way off a normal sizing of XXl which is 51-52 inches. I tried it with two friends both medium to large and it fit them perfectly, I couldnt even get it on over a t-shirt let alone any winter clothing underneath. So thier review was they liked it and it felt comfortable and looked good. My review is, dont mark somthing as XXl and then invent your own version of what its menat to mean. It annoys us when we have to send things back...so in short pay careful attention to what the actual size in in numbers and ignore the numerals before you buy

This coat fits true to size, with enough room to wear a lightweight jumper ( cashmere kind of weight) under it.It is well thought out with plenty of secure pockets to keep your valuable items safe ( keys/phone/wallet).The zip is windproof, with a strip of material which covers it to keep out wind and even driving rain.It has a hood which has a reflective detail on it, this isn’t massive and is done subtly. It reflects light rather than being neon etc.The arms are a good length, they reach right down and slightly passed my wrist on to my hand, they have a Velcro strip so you can tighten them to keep out the cold and wet.It is very good at wicking away water and keeping you dry ( even if you test it with a hose!) in fact the only part that got wet was the top of my legs where the water ran off the coat and on to my thighs.The coat is not a particularly warm coat, it is thin and doesn’t have any padding, it makes a really good top layer for walking where you don’t need the heat but want to stop the wind and rain ruining your walk.

I got the size large in Navy. Luckily it runs a little big so you can wear a jumper underneath.Measurements are:Armpit to Armpit - 23.5 inches (47 inches)Armpit to Sleeve - 23 inchesShoulder to Hem - 30 inchesBottom Hem/Waist - 22 Inches (44 inches)The jacket is lovely, its nice and thick, lots of pockets, very comfortable and kept me dry on a walk with light rain.The 12000 means that it is suitable for downpours and snow, but will soak through if subjected to pressure ie carring a rucksack.The 12000 breathability means that its perfect for winter, but you may get a bit clammy in warmer weather.Really smart jacket. Very happy with it.

I'm a live sports cameraman and as such am subjected to varying weather.This jacket is perfect to keep on hand so that I can tackle whatever Mother Nature throws at me.It is very good at keep out snow and rain while still being relatively breathable.There is also enough room for me to wear another layer in between for extra warmth as requiredIt looks good too which is also important.Definitely worth the money
