Easy to install once take door off

My radio was staying on when I removed the keys forcing me to open the back door every time I got out to turn off the radio. I replaced the whole actuator which fixed that problem. The interior lights now come on/off consistently, too. The big bonus was it also fixed the door latching. In the past, I often had to reclose it because it didn't latch all the way - 2nd problem fixed!

It broke when trying to install.

Great product, complete with latch and lock. You'll need to remove the door handle (three 10MM bolts),however leaving all of the rods attached makes removal and installation easier.

Used it on my 2003 Sierra 1500 HD everything works, but handle doesn’t pull tight against door anymore. I have to push it a little bit to get it to go all the way again door.

Take the time with careful disassembly. Take pictures of every part removed. Patients on the reassebly and save a ton of money.
