Scythe - Case Fan - 40 mm - 04 CFM - 3500 RPM - Mini-Kaze - SY124010L

Purchased this to replace a fan in Astaro SG 110, as the old fan was buggered and too noisy.This Mini Kaze Fan is barely audible, only when you have your ear up to it do you actually hear it, and even at that it's just the air moving.Only thing stopping it from being awarded a 5 stars is that it comes with no screws, luckily the screws from the old fan fitted.Definitely going to purchase another 2 as I have to more more fan slots free

This fan is quiet enough for my needs, about the same as the Noctua NF-A4X10 it replaced. It came with a 2-to-3 pin adapter cable, which saves some soldering. It also came with absolutely nothing else, particularly no screws. Given that the holes in the fan were smaller than any of the previous ones (Sunon and Noctua), none of my existing screws fit and I had to go scrounging, which was annoying. Let's hope it lasts for some time.

Quite fans.worth the extra money.purchased 2 of these for my htpc/dell optiplex755 as im running graphics card.satellite card. And was worried about them over heating and failing. There not the most powerfull but I needed small size due to modding case and seem to be running ok.

Silent fan, very short cable may 7cm, get some crimp and extra cableif you need longer as this is the quietest 2 pin younwill find. Airflow isnt amazing but enough I need it for

Very quiet fan, bought 3 to replace some very noisy items in a Netgear network switch. Not quite 5 stars as one of the 3 was missing it's 2 to 3 pin adapter cable. Also be aware that these have sleeve bearings so not likely to last that long, but time will tell.
