Larger than expected
This is a nice sturdy table. Was so easy to put together. Moves well on the wheels. The table is long enough to play my keyboard on as well put my laptop on. It suits my needs very well. The only downside I would say is that it sits too high to go under my recliner chair but that is not a big problem. My table had been returned previously as the polystyrene was smashed and there was a small chip on the edge of table but I can fix that myself. I think I will get plenty of use out of it.

Does what it should
Only took 20 minutes to put together, and I'm not the DIYer in the family. Sturdy enough to hold hot food whilst I spoon it to my husband. Might be a bit wobbly if you were leaning hard on it but overall very pleased for the money.

Easy assembly
Ok product a bit bouncy on the table end but solid at the other end. East to put together and better quality than I thought it would be for the price

Great over the bed table - however...
I bought this height adjustable table to use over my Parker Knoll chair, and for use over my bed in the future. Unfortunately at its lowest height, 76cm, it was far too high for my chair.Fortunately my husband has good DIY skills - he used his 'grinder' to cut it down by 15cm (6 inches) which still leaves me sufficient height to use it over the bed.Now that it's the right height, and for the price, I would recommend this sturdy table which has a decent sized table top.Just make sure to measure the lowest height that you require as 76cm height is most suited to over the bed. Giving it 5 stars as it is a great table - the height problem was mine for not measuring it before ordering.

Small redesign needed
I really like the style of this hospital table, but after having it for quite a while now, I thought I'd give an honest opinion..With a small amount of redesign, of underneath the table to make it stronger this could make it a great table. As i find the table slopes downwards slightly as the metal bar isn't strong enough, to keep the table level. Also the table I have is not alligned with the legs, so when you look at my table head on, you will notice that the table goes off to the side a bit... not really an issue but one of those niggly things that annoy you if you like things to look right. The size of the table is great and I like that it has ledges at the sides so things can't slip off.I used it without the castors, and it would of been too high for me otherwise. It's a good table just needs some tweaking with the design to make it much more sturdy on the far end with no leg.

Height adjustment is concerning
The height adjustment knob has no thread or clicking method to secure the table to desired height. With a little pressure the table lowers, which is problematic for food, drinks and elderly people. The table is wonky and unstable even more so towards the open side of the table.Would not recommend

High quality construction and overall finish. Very sturdy.
I got this table for my elderly mother to use and she finds it very good. I find it to be very well made and strong in design, as compared too a similar table she uses, which doesn't have wheels fitted. If this table is to fit under anything where the wheels are ( a bed or arm chair etc.) make sure you have at least three and three quarters of an inch clearance, otherwise the frame on top of the wheels WILL NOT fit under whatever item of furniture it is to be used with. Each wheel has a brake on it, which is very handy. The minimum set height of the table is about 30 inches, with the maximum height being 48 inches, though you will want to use it at a lower height setting than this for stability. It comes supplied with Allen keys and a flat stamped plate sort of spanner, but I found using a proper shape spanner much easier in practice. The instructions are a bit basic, but I didn't use them as it happens, as it is very easy to see how it goes together. The finish of the paint is first class overall and given that it worked out £15 cheaper than the other type of table my mother uses, which ISN'T as sturdy, I think it is a very good buy all round. The only thing I found niggling, was the two plastic strips that stop things sliding over the edges of the table top. While they work ok, they are covered in a layer of plastic that looks like it should be removed before use. it is however, very awkward to remove this layer and if left on, detracts from the overall look of the table top. Other than this last point, I can heartily recommend this adjustable table for long term use.But do make sure there is enough clearance under any furniture for the frame to roll under it, as it is not designed to work WITHOUT the wheels fitted.

Value
Reasonably priced for what it achieves, easy to move. Perfect for what I required short term, post surgery. It's is height adjustable but on a screw through clamp rather than fast release so fine if you need a pretty fixed height which I do. No bells or whistles, need to pay double+ for that option.
