Good all-rounder
Wanted a fairly cheap but good TV for my 70 year old parents for Christmas. Having read some of the mixed reviews I thought I take the plunge having a 49" 4K Bravia in the bedroom myself. The TV itself is clean looking - the thin bezel all around gives it a deceiving small viewing area given it replaced a 42" VIERA plasma even though this is 1" larger. Image-wise, I was suitably impressed with the colour reproduction, Finding Nemo being particularly colourful and sharp even on the standard picture setting. This was hooked up to a Virgin HD box so I can't comment on the FreeView tuner as I didn't even bother scanning for channels. Viewing angles were better than expected (again given the reviews) and didn't give any cause for concern. Sound wise again was good for built in speakers, filling the large room adequately and didn't need turning up to achieve this. 2 HDMI ports is the minimum I'd accept on a TV and we were able to connect the Virgin HD box and Blu-ray player with no problem. The lack of SEN is a shame but for a TV for this price it has the basics covered, Netflix, Amazon video + a few more. If you're looking for a TV with lots of connectivity options and a host of smart apps you might be better off looking elsewhere but for a bedroom/family room/kids room TV this fits the bill perfectly. Also the stand screws ARE included but are taped to the outside of a plastic bag so it did take a minute to find them. Putting them in the bag with the manual, remote and batteries etc would've been a better option.

Perfect Bedroom TV
Perfect 32inch Tv for bedroom. It’s actually becoming harder to get a proper 1080p panel in a smaller screen size, which is important for gaming or watching Movies and Netflix on lazy weekends. The built in Netflix app on all Sony TVs is actually very solid, very little lag or cutting out of streaming.Value for money it is more expensive than other brands or HD ready (720p only) options, but for a perfect picture quality, it’s worth the extra money.Sound as is good as it’s going to be for built in speakers. Do not expect cinema quality. If you are, you’re looking at the wrong product.Sony TVs are back to being on form.

Quality Sony TV
If you are an average TV viewer don't believe all the negative reviews about this TV. It really is a decent little set with clear picture quality and decent sound. OK its not a totally "smart" TV that you can use to browse the internet like your smart phone - but its a good TV with some neat extras like built in Netflix and BBC iPlayer. It replaced out old Sony "HD ready" TV - which was about 10 years old and screen was going around the edges - we are very pleased with our new purchase.

Good buy. Good picture, good sound, just two HDMI connections let it down.
So far so good. Exceeded expectations. Some reviews were a little concerning but I can happily say it appears to be a very good product with good picture quality and sound is much better than some reviews suggested it would be.Disappointing connectivity though. Just two HDMI connections, nowadays we need at least four if not six, so this is a poor failure by Sony to offer connectivity beyond what must now be a minimum requirement.Real test will be continued good performance and for how long. But all in all a good buy so far

Good clear picture.
The picture quality of this Sony TV is excelent. We know that LG TVs usually have good pictures and that is why all of the other TVs in the house are LG, therefore, at first we had planned to use an LG TV in the small bedroom/office but the picture on the LG TV that we bought for this room was poor so we returned it and, (in its stead), we bought this Sony TV.The poor picture on that LG TV may possibly have been due to our just having an aerial point in that particular room but we used the same aerial with this TV and the picture on this Sony TV is excellent). That LG TV had more features, inluding more apps than this Sony and the cost per screen size was lower but at the end of the day the most important feature is a good picture as everything else is secondary.

Made to last.
Tv is on the wall in my bedroom. It's as thin as a mobile phone. I think the picture is fine and the sound quality. Thin edge to it and looks good, with led logo at the bottom which you can turn off if you want to. Wireless access to the Internet with the TV through the hot-spot on my phone if I wish to . Good inputs/outputs which I think is important.

This TV is so easy to set up
This TV saved me a lot of time in trying to understand how to connect other appliances, it was very straightforward and took very little time, the picture is very sharp, you have to set the volume quite high, but I also use hearing aids so perhaps that is understandable but very good value.

The sound is absolutely awful...
I ordered this TV, then continued reading reviews on other sites, which all said the sound was bad. I thought "this is a Sony Bravia, they must be wrong?"... nope, I was wrong!!!It arrived, and I set it up, and could not believe how tinny and hollow the audio sounded.I tried numerous sources and music and tried the different sound profiles, but it remained poor.Even though the picture quality is great, I'm sorry to say that this is not a TV you should buy. :-(
