Great Book, even for EUROPEANS !
Buying a book with healthy recipes is a good idea ... yet using the recipes, it depends on where on the planet one lives.Buying American or Indian good recipes books, and being able to buy all the ingredients, that's the problem!I am in Ireland. I noticed that in the USA people (still) seem to be able to buy almost anything from anywhere on the planet.To cut a long story short, The Power of Food is a great guideline for Northern Hemisphere Peoples, and even here inIreland I already had most of the ingredients needed for the recipes in this book.(Can't say the same about my wished for Indian spices + condiments, in my town few such treasures are found).Great book with Extremely Simple, and that's SOOOOO important, tasty recipes! Recommended!

some excellent ideas, and especially for recipes for less-used ingredients, however would have been far more user-friendly if the recipes were better organised ... although the ones I have tried are good.

You can accomplish anything
I'm seriously deciding whether or not to get into another way of eating. It just gets harder and harder the older you get to get nutrition choices into your daily routine. I have gone back to my psyillium and orange juice….my daily supplements and I'm looking for a bread to make and eat on a daily basis. (no gluten). I also juice a lot of vegetable and fruit together on an every other day basis, which is very enjoyable. I'd like to re-route my sugar in the coffee and desserts I love to bake ….. we'll see come the New Year what I can start eliminating. I like this book, it gives your moral a boost……and makes you feel you can accomplish anything.

If you are like me.
If you are like me...old. Some days are really hard to go by. No energy. Though this book might suit an athlete more, his recipes are quite good and within a couple of weeks there is a change in the energy level. Now here me, you won’t run a marathon but getting out of bed will be much more easier. A little spring in the step can bring you further. Easy to cook, to find ingredients, recommande this book.

Game Changing Idea
I first learned of Adam's 80/20 principle towards eating a year ago, when I was struggling with the idea of moving towards becoming a vegan. Being a vegan seemed too restrictive to me and didn't seem possible. After coming across Adam and applying his 80/20 approach to my diet, I knew I was on the right path. It was flexible and guilt-free enough that I've stuck with it since then. One year later I'm 50lbs lighter, filled with energy every day and one month away from running my first ultramarathon. Oh and my mental health has improved and stabilized (I live with schizophrenia)Getting Adam's book in the mail 2 weeks ago was so exciting, my girlfriend and I couldn't stop reading Adam's inspiring journey and learned a ton of new insightsI'm here to say this book will add more value to your life if you invest the time into it than most books you've read, so make it a gift to yourself or a loved one, you won't regret itBrent

So delicious!
So excited to get this beautifully designed book in the mail yesterday! I've already tried two recipes - macho man loaf and kale chips. They were the best freakin' kale chips I've ever had - way better than anything from the grocery store. The loaf was soul-replenishing and filling - loads more interesting that plain old bread.This book is so pretty to look at, the pictures inspired me to get in the kitchen right away. Adam Hart makes healthy eating so easy with his ultra-nutritious and delicious creations! Highly recommend this book to not just to my fellow foodies and health nuts but also to newbies in the world of good health. Adam's story is completely inspirational. He makes is easy to start from scratch. This is a book I'll be picking up again and again.Warning: you WILL feel like splurging on an awesome blender after reading this!

Healthy, Easy, Fast & Beautiful!
Wow, this is not your typical recipe book. It's so much more... loving it. It's part instructional as Adam lists different 'power' foods that are the most nutritious for you and then has the recipes organized based on those foods. Lots of great alternatives to your favourite meals too, like pizza, shepherd's pie, vanilla pudding, etc. I've already lost a bit of weight thanks to this book as it's a real inspiration for eating better. Adam's story is quite interesting & inspirational too. Really recommend it to anyone wanting to learn how to start eating well. Oh and the design is amazing, lots of colourful photos of the recipes (which is always a must for me).

This is an excellent cook book. I had the privilege of eating some of Adam's dishes recently and there was not a thing that I did not like. They are all very healthy.

Both myself and my collegues and friends have received insight and recipes from this book.The recipes are excellent so far and we will be trying more.The information on the different ingredients is educational on top of the recipes.I feel that this is an essential book for any kitchen and learning process.

Love this book!!
Besides having this book myself - love the hempseed peanut butter cookies, I have given several copies as gifts. The author's story alone is a great testament to how life style and eating habits affect your happiness and health.

This book is so easy to read. I especially like the layout where the "power" of each featured food is described and then followed by yummy recipes that are easy to prep and easy to eat!Congratulations, Adam. Way to go!
