This book is like Jeopardy! for people who definitely lock their doors twice. It's got more chilling facts than my last situationship—and way more structure. I’m now the friend who casually drops “Did you know Bundy escaped twice?” over brunch like it’s a fun fact (it’s not. But also... it is.)It’s spooky, it’s weirdly addictive, and it absolutely confirms that I should never be trusted with an alibi. 10/10 - would scare dates with it again.

Ordered and given as gift for adolescent teenager interested in the macabre and criminology and investigative studies etc ..Reports I got back were that it was a good and interesting read.Recommend? ✅Would I buy again? - Yes but only if got at a reduced price

I’m not sure if I would call this a fact book. It’s more like when your young adult niece has taken an interest in criminology/psychology and is eager to show off what they learnt today in college. But, an interesting book. Just snippets of information which provides you with a good place to go and research more.Sometimes I would say that the facts are out of context and so lose something. There’s no references to where the information came from and so no way to check the sources which is disappointing. It’s also flavoured by the authors own preferences and beliefs and bias. Sometimes the author is taking correlations and making them causations.But, if you find something in there that interests you, there are plenty of places to find more.

I purchased this for a friend . She was extremely happy that it was concise and well laid out instead of some books with tiny print .
