This is a second purchase of this particular model. The previous one had been well used, so a new one was in order. Being a triangle you can turn it over once it starts to wear and the kittens have always enjoyed playing and scratching in the central hole. Very sturdy so no chance of my large cats pulling it over. Good product and I would recommend.

I was not sure about the size of this but it’s not as big as you think. My cat loves the fact he can play inside it. He took to it straight away and started to play with it and climb on it a few days later. It appears expensive but it has 3 sides to scratch so will last 3 times longer. I’m really pleased I chose this particular scratching post. 5*****

My elderly cat has always enjoyed scratching wallpaper. We have just had our house redecorated - no wallpaper, so I wanted to give her something to scratch. I had tried the string posts before without real success. So, I bought the "triangle" and after a bit of training - ie: placing her claws on the cardboard, she has taken to it perfectly. She now uses it for scratching using her claws, she uses the sides to rub under her chin and then sits in the interior, like it is her new bed. I put a little bit of catnip inside the "triangle" and this worked like magic.Aesthetically, this product is very attractive - it looks almost sculptural and does not look out of place in our lounge, placed by the radiator where our cat likes to lie to keep warm. It is made of very dense, extremely strong cardboard (yes, I know you would not think it would look particularly nice, but I promise you, it looks rather chic) and I feel it will last a good amount of time. I would say that it is a good idea to place it in a "favourite" place, use a reasonable amount of catnip, take your cat to the scratching post, place their claws on it and "train" him/her. Our cat was initially reluctant.....but within a few days, she started using it very happily.Overall, I am really thrilled with this product - thank you to PetFusion.

It's well made and looks stylish but no cat has no interest! A shame.

It's always difficult to judge how stable a scratching post is when looking for one. My cat is fairly strong, so he tends to struggle with some scratching posts because of instability. This is one of the main reasons I got this one over any others. The other being that it's 3-sided so you get a lot of scratching usage out of it.The post is less than a week old, although it looks like it's months old, it does actually seem to be holding up well. Since my cat is quite stupid, it is taking him a while to get used to the fact 2 sides aren't usable, but he tries anyway. He mostly scratches the very top between two of the faces, but I'm training him to do the middle more. He also does his "party trick" and jumps on top of it. He's been doing that for all scratch posts to be honest so if anything it's now less impressive because it's shorter and more stable.One more thing I noted is that my car, when I was unboxing it, went out of character and started going mad for the bubble wrap and ripping at it, rolling around it etc. so I think there may be hints of catnip around so be careful when you unbox it.

Superb! Well designed product that our cat loves and which is saving the carpet on the bottom stair which has become his favourite scratching place. Usually our cat is very suspicious of anything new and will avoid for up to a week, but within 2 hours of getting this out of the box he was using it, no catnip required. The triangular shape means the product is very stable and won't fall over when the cat is leaning against it.Have now had this product for 4 months and despite daily scratching (and chewing!) it is still in good shape. Would recommend putting a rubber mat under it (or getting the hoover out regularly) as bits loosened by scratching tend to end up all over the carpet. Am so pleased with this product that I have invested in another Pet Fusion product to keep his Highness happy.

Arrived quickly and well packaged. Bought this as have recently moved into house with hardwood floors and not possible to put catflap into heavy glass patio doors so cat is now mainly inside. Wish I had thought to buy this earlier as our cat has taken to it instantly, no more scratching on furniture. Bought the standard size and this works very well for a 6 year cat and does not side around. After 4 months cat is still very content to use - not sure how long will actually last. Only negative is would have been useful to be able to turn around or upside down to use fresh side once one side is worn. Spent a good while researching reviews of various scratching posts etc and have to say this one definitely is to be recommended.

I've gone through many different cats scratchers over the years, all with their pros and their cons. I chose this one because I was looking for something large, durable, and vertical/triangle-shaped. I'm currently staying in a furnished rental and want to prevent my cats from scratching the furniture. Slid this baby up next to the arm of the couch, and boom - my cats scratch this instead of couch.It doesn't move or tip over like cheaper options, which makes it so much easier for the cats to use. It does start wearing down over some time, which is to be expected. This happened with my cat scratch lounger from PetFusion (which my cats are also OBSESSED with). Depending on the number of cats using it and frequency of use, I've learned that PetFusion scratchers generally lass about 6 months to a year before before becoming rundown and start shedding all over the place.Overall, super happy with my purchase. It's a solid, modern-looking cat scratcher that will get plenty of use. Sure, it's spendy, but definitely a more sturdy and longer-lasting solution than cheaper alternatives. So far, my cats have loved the PetFusion products & I'm super happy with my purchase!

Den triangulära klösmattan vänder sig inte ens när den klöses kraftigt. De är alla robusta och de ser bra ut. De har alla varit av högsta kvalitet, vi har haft dem i flera år och de verkar som om de kommer att hålla i flera år till. Rekommenderas starkt.

Endlich ein stylischer Kratzbaum.Meine Katzen lieben den Kratzbaum.Klar, nach einer gewissen Zeit "fusselt" er etwas, wie bei allen Pappkratzspielzeugen. lDa bei uns sowieso fast täglich der Sauger läuft, stört es nicht. Bei uns hält er 1 bis 2 Jahre.
