Tassimo Twinings English Breakfast Tea Pods (Pack of 5, Total 80 Coffee Capsules)

I love these teas and normally I’m a strict Yorkshire tea girl! I still prefer my Yorkshire tea but I have my tassimo next to my bed and these come in very handy when there’s no kids around to make me tea! (Luckily one of them just made me one so as I’m sitting here writing a review on twinnings tea I’m supping a nice cup of Yorkshire)They fill what I would call a traditional cup size, you know, when there used to be saucers with cups so you had somewhere to precariously lodge a rich tea or throw caution to the wind and stick a chocolate digestive on there.If your using a modern day cup or mug then you’ll look in there once your machine has finished coughing and spluttering and wonder where the heck the rest of it is, but you can always hold down the top button and get a bit more water and dreggs out of it and it’s still a nice strong cuppa either way, well unless you go and stick a load of milk in it and ruin it but that’s up to you, I’m happy with a splash.So yeah I’d recommend these, they really do have a lovely flavour and even adding more water doesn’t detract from the taste.

Theres not a great deal to say about this really, its great quality Twinings English Breakfast tea, in a pod/capsule format specifically for the Tassimo machine.The tea tastes great, and barcode system ensures a perfect brew time after time. The default does however give a little less tea than I like in my cup, but a press and hold on the button allows me to top my cup up to the desired level and in all honesty, theres plenty of punch left in the leaves after the initial serve as not to really water down the flavour of the brew.I purchased these on a Lightning deal at christmas, which made the purchase aprox 50% off which was good, however I am prepared and do purchase a full price. The particular product/deal purchased gave 5 boxes of 16 discs which has lasted me several months (I do typically only consume one of these a day) and the products have a decent shelf life.

I purchased the tassimo for my husband, he loves coffee, I despise the stuff. Then I saw these, being a massive tea lover I thought that there was no way they would live upto the tasty wonderful tea bag, I thought they would be watery and downright dreadful, but I thought nothing ventured nothing gained. So I took the plunge and tested them. They are the BEST tea I have drank, strong, tasty and the perfect temperature every time. I can't get enough of them. They are a little more expensive than a packet of tea bags but they last a long time when purchased in bulk, and I do think they are worth it.

I was sceptical about tea made from what I thought was predominantly a coffee maker, I was wrong on two counts. No longer will I look at my tassimo as just a coffee maker as the tea from these pods is lovely. I would go as far to say 'the perfect cup of tea', well certainly the most perfect tea to be made in my kitchen. It is not recommended and i probably shouldn't recommend it but.... If you like a big cup of tea and I mean big (nearly a pint!), you can run these pods twice and still get a great cuppa. I wouldn't make two separate cups of tea as the second one will be weak, but for one big cuppa reusing the pod (at your own risk, as they are not designed for this) is possible.

Buy this tea regularly for husband and Mum who both like it for its taste and ease of making. I will drink it but prefer tea brewed using teabags or loose tea. I feel the taste is a little weak and there is something missing in the taste, a very light tasting tea with no depth is the only way I can describe it. However apart from this, which is down to personal taste, it is a quick and easy substitute for 'teabag' tea, quick for the morning work rush. Probably also great for the office where health and safety issues don't always allow a kettle/boiling water but a Tassimo machine would be allowed.

This is a decent cup of tea. A bit strong unless I chose the weakest setting on the machine so should suit strong tea drinkers on the strong setting. Not as hot as a cup made from a boiling kettle but that's not really a problem. This is the best price I have seen this tea. Lowest price on the high street is £3.99 a pack (16 pods) at ASDA so 5 packs of 16 would cost £19.95 so £14.95 is a decent saving.

Tassimo With Twinings is just a recipe for success in my book,very quick to get a cuppa when your on the run,it is really good and it does not work out to bad for machine tea on cost,the other thing is that you can get from Amazon at a good price and if you subscribe and save you can have it coming in to your home cheaper and delivered to your doorstep,would recommend.
