It arrived less than 24 hours after I ordered it. I ordered it because 1st child - 28 - kept banging on about not liking face, hair and body to be wet all at the same time.Her face after using it for the first time was a picture. (she won't let me photograph her though) It's flimsy but does the job. And no more complaints! (She's a millennial so I can't be too sure about that.

The idea is good which is why I brought it. I have a major problem with red eyes after I wash my hair and this was an ideal solution. I was not sure if it would do the job as well, for an adult as it would for a child but it very nearly does. There was a slight problem that it did slip a bit and let the soapy water get in. It was then not so easy to put back in place as my hands were obviously soapy. This would not happen with a child. I will stil use it and try to get better in the way I actually wash my hair!

Too small for an average adult head. I bought this as my husband, an Alzheimer's sufferer, hates getting water in his eyes. I bought this expensive version - there are many far cheaper ones around - specifically because it's described as being suitable for adults. My husband is of slim build with, I'd guess, a skull circumference that is at most of average size. The shield is far too tight for him to wear and it's clear that it's meant for children. Feel I've been rolled over for seventeen pounds (£12.50 plus postage on under-£20 spend) for a useless article that I can't return because it got slightly damp with shampoo in the 5 seconds it took for him to wrench it off his head. No doubt others will be taken in, like me, and spend money they don't have (£62 per week carer's allowance makes £17 quite extravagant) on this item thanks to its claim to be suitable for adults. Unless the adult in mind has a head the size of a five-year-old's, I would think twice before ordering this, and perhaps just get one of the much cheaper versions that don't claim to be intended for adults. At least then you won't lose as much as I have if it turns out to be too tight.

These are great! I didn't give it 5 stars just because my toddler hates it and always yanks it off. It does leak a wee bit of water but that could be because my son doesn't stay still n leave it be

I've recently had eye surgery and need to keep shampoo and water out of my eyes when I wash my hair, this does the job well. Only gripe is was packed in a huge cardboard box and packed in loads of paper. Would have been better to put in s large envolope instead as its flat, thin, unbreakable and very light weight

Excellent product which works really well, knocking off one star only because the fit is very snug for adult size heads, but OK if you wash very quickly. Probably would not fit male or large head, why is a bigger size not available? There must be a need - post-operative protection/balance problems/phobias/ear problems etc?!

I bought this for my elderly mother as she hates getting water in her eyes and her hair hadn't been rinsed properly as the carers didn't want to put her through the "torture" of getting water over her face. We spent months with hair which couldn't be rinsed properly but this is now solved. Although this said the fit was for a child, it is perfect for an adult too as it is a snug fit and therefore water doesn't leak out. My mother, and her carers, are delighted with this shampoo cap and it does exactly what it needs to do - keeps water from my mother's eyes.

This shampoo hat was pretty good for the first few uses, but the material does not last long at all, before holes appear due to the seams on the edge not being strong enough, so within 2 weeks holes appeared and water began to leak through.
