Excellent packaging - easy to install - slight issue with setting up email pushing and push notifications through the mobile app, but im working on it

Update:30/5/18I have just purchased another for a customer.Excellent value for money the 2 megapixel system is amazing I will be buying more as I am an installer I suggest buying some black top quality vinyl(not tape VINYL) and wrapping it around the Blue section to guarantee 100% watertight or maybe I'm just over cautious lol but other than my doubts about waterproof the images are fantastic for the cost... and a easy to install system,,,25/10/17 I just bought 2 more

Honestly?.............The quality of these things is incredible............I will get this bit out of the way first, the only thing I'm worried about is longevity and reliabilty due to someone else's review. that said, The seller, Top CCTV Store appears to be very friendly and answers emails quickly. I probably have no cause for concern....Now, to the review. I have bought 3 of these units and will be buying more, the picture quality of these things is nothing short of the best I have ever seen at this price range and certainly will not be bettered for some time. A few things I like, The cameras are very very sensitive which means at night, some of them do not even have to switch to night vision mode, even in very low light. The resolution is staggering, what one would expect from 1080 and the colour gamut is extremely accurate, no need to bend the 'Hue' to match car colour for example. Another thing is that the recorder has TWO separate settings in the GUI which can be set to replicate night and day mode which give you a completely separate set of colour/bright/contrast/sharpness etc controls programmable for night/day mode independently which means they can be easily optimised without having to mess around on the apps or PC GUI and will switch at the times selected per channel. You can also MOVE the time/date and ID tag of each channel to any position you want also independently on each channel. Easy to set up, just scan the QR code on the apps or enter the serial number directly with the XM EYE app and you are away...........Only thing missing is a composite video out so difficult to send through an RF modulator if required but other than that, we will see how th reliability is. Once again, in this price range, these cannot be bettered for quality....Beware other sellers on the high street charging 3-4 times this amount for the same thing.......Given five stars for now....hopefully will remain that way........I will be buying more of these, that is for certain

Great system

Cameras all arrived on time but less than 3 months after buying and getting a professional in to install them properly one camera stopped working completely, few months later and yet another camera stopped working?? had to buy the strand hard drive separately

I agree with ALL previous comments, a good system but sometimes jittery playback, the only other issue is the "motion sensor" this seems to be too sensitive catching all the flies that pass by the lens, rather tedious if you have set up the email alerts as you get way too many, i have not yet asked for assistance on this, but using the software to set the sensitivity, makes little difference, even when set to "lowest"

This unit amazed me for the money. The quality of image in daylight is superb and the night time (ir) performance is as good as daylight just in black and white as you would expect. Setting up is simple the Xmeye app as others have stated is somewhat erratic but can easily view on local network. I have disabled the remote ( over the Internet) as I have a satellite broadband connection and data usage is an issue.My only minor gripe is the gimbal locking on the cameras is less secure than I would like but so far after heavy rain and winds they haven't moved

After a year I have to downgrade this to one star. The reason is the xmeye software they insist on us using for the remote viewing of cameras. Its shocking and basically makes the system unusable as it always losing settings and not allowing connection.
