IKEA 900-784-62 Pello rocking chair, natural colors

This is a great armchair which I bought for my mother. I was actually quite skeptical at first but after reading the reviews I thought I'd give it a shot. The height of the chair from the floor to the seat is 15 inches which was perfect since my mother has short legs. When it arrived it was very easy to assemble, there weren't any textual instructions but the illustrations were clear enough. Once assembled I didn't expect it to look so good considering the price but wow! It's exactly how it looks in the photo. Good quality, comfortable and sturdy. It's been a month I believe since my purchase and so far so good. Overall, my mother and I are pleased with this item. Money well spent 👍😃.

I live in a small room and wanted a chair so I wouldn't have to keep sitting on the bed. This is perfect for my needs, it was cheap, fits in a small area, reasonably comfortable, easy to assemble, light and easy to move around when cleaning etc, and neutral colouring so it doesn't clash with my the other furniture / decor in my room. Also I was very impressed with the delivery service, was told the eta was about a month but came within 4 days. Very pleased overall.

We needed a rocking chair for our child's nursery. We decided to buy this one as friends of ours had recommended. Its a great chair for this purpose, easy to clean and simple to remove the covers and place in the washing machine. Not the luxurious but definitely comfortable (not like sitting on the sofa etc) but has a high back so can easily rest your head. I also found it very easy to breastfeed in with little one propped up with a pillow

I was after a compact, comfortable chair for the kitchen so that, on cold winter nights, I can huddle up in front of the Aga. It arrived about three weeks before the anticipated delivery date -- from Germany. This is a standard Ikea product in terms of assembly; even though the bits follow no logic they should join together without too much trouble. As a result, I was able to build this chair on my own without any trouble, despite rather ambiguous instructions that were poorly illustrated. I could have ordered it from Ikea but, because I'm used to the idiosyncrasies of Amazon's service, I thought I'd go through this site to save fiddling about with having to enter my details all over again. At the end of the day, it's a nice looking, low cost chair that's good for the price.

Ordered 2 chairs - 1 for a Christmas gift so parts have been checked but chair has not been put together. The 2nd chair was put together the day after delivery and was fairly straight forward, and the look of the chair very pleasing. However within 1 week the supporting canvas had split to the 'seat' of the chair making it sag and the likelihood is that the chair is not sufficiently supported and with time is likely to break! Contacted the seller via the Amazon website which stated the seller would respond within 3 working days - this did not happen, so re-emailed, no response to date from seller, so opened up a case via Amazon. Received an email from Amazon to say that a partial refund would be organised (the cost relating to the defective chair) - still in the process of receiving the refund in a reasonable time period. My concern is that the 2nd chair (yet to be constructed as it is a Christmas gift) might have the same problem. I researched the chair prior to ordering to ensure there was no weigh restriction and it wasn't purely for child use as some products are advertised this way - the reviews indicated that adults use this style of chair and there is no one in our family who is over weight! This is my first purchase of an Ikea product and I very much hope that I won't in the future be regarding Ikea products as 'bad quality' and that this is a 'one-off' problem. Let's hope there is no disappointment at Christmas when the 2nd chair is put together.

Ideal for extension conservatory type place locations rather than the lounge. There are no cross members under the seat, which is already rather low. (First thing I did was reach for a cushion to put under me). I can see it getting lower quite soon. Would not suit heavier people. Suited to those who want to change furniture after a year or so, possibly living in flats or rented accomodation. Definately not for anyone wanting a few years service. Apart from the lack of support under the seat, a fairly clever design at an appropriate near-budget price.

I bought this chair for our summer house. It was easy to assemble. Very comfortable indeed.

So pleased, great price , bought for nursery and fits perfectly. Rocks just enough to feed the baby and is neat so doesn’t take over the room. Very comfy and easy to put together! Chuffed
