Excellent product
So far, this drill has proved well up to the task. It's powerful and the battery lasts well. I've got used to picking up a battery-powered drill after a period of non-use to find the battery just about flat. Hasn't happened yet with the Draper. The two batteries are the best part - they charge quickly and provide a spare for when you're in the middle of a job and the battery runs down.This product seems to be on a par with similar products at over twice the price so recommended.

I bought one of these in April, and it worked fine. By the end of May it doesn't work at all.

After leaving my charger on a working site my Battery drill was useless, looked on amazon for replacement and found it without any bother, works like a charm and I am now back in business, great product and well priced.

Saved my Powerbase hedge trimmer from the rubbish bin!
I thought I was going to have to scrap my Powerbase hedge trimmer when the charger failed, but this Draper transformer plugs straight into the Powerbase adapter and is a faster charger as well!

I bought this product as my old Einhell Cordless Drill Charger had packed up after overheating. This was identical to the one I had originally in shape, colour and size. It's compatible with other 18volt drills that use ni-cad batteries.I'll be buying another one soon as a backup.Please note if your charger starts to overheat and is hot when you touch it, this means somethings wrong and you should unplug it from the mains. I found out a bit too late the damage had been done. Mine burnt-out because some of the ni-cad cells were dead in the battery pack and I have since rebuilt it.

Draper 41901 18-Volt 1.2 Ah 3-5 Hour Charger
In the middle of a garage conversion, everything taken out and piled into my shed, couldn't find the original charger for my drill so had to buy this cheap and cheerful alternative. It takes longer to charge than my 1 hour charge original, but it's better than not being able to use my drill. It will serve as a backup until I finally get my shed back into some kind of order and find the original.
