Great little device, but . . .
I am not a gadget man and regularly said, "Pah, I don't need one of these", but this is brilliant in its simplicity. I connected my semi-acoustic guitar and you wouldn't know that it was running through an effects pedal. Then click the button with your foot and it records whatever you play with no distortion or loss of sound quality. Click again and it plays it back - simple. Click once more and it records the next 'layer'. Plug your microphone in and it records your voice in the same way. Press and hold and it deletes the last thing you recorded. My guitar playing has improved no end by recording a repeating rhythm and then exploring a lead and visa versa. Be warned, it records everything you do - warts and all - and has made me realise just how many unwanted twangs and fuzzy bits I have (used to have) in my normal playing. This little gadget is so simple and easy to use it’s great, and despite being small, its feels really solid and the button push is very definite. And all for around £30!But: the device was absolutely rubbish when it came to connecting it to my PC – it didn’t. After over an hour and a half searching every online forum and website I realised there are hordes of players who could not connect their machine to their computer, many of whom rendered their device useless after downloading the wrong software update.Having finally downloaded the software and saved my files, Windows doesn’t recognise the file type (even though they are wav), it prompts me for my admin password every time you click on a file and the app that controls how you transfer files is beyond basic and gives you very few saving options. One final disappointment is that the device saves all of your recordings onto one file, for example: record a repeating rhythm, then a bass line and then a lead. They are recorded as one file and not separately, so that when you wish to edit them on your PC, it is a disappointing and pointless exercise. In Summary: great for ‘live’ practice and to improve your playing, but if you wish to use your recordings on your PC, then forget it unless you are prepared to spend hours of your time working out how to do it.

Works perfectly as a simple looper, a battery version would be amazing.
I've always wanted a looper pedal, this was very cheap and as such is only mains powered which is the tradeoff i guess for the price. The looper function itself is good, i havent had any problems with it so far and for a jam session/simple loop cover it will definitely do the job. The build quality is good but i havent used the export feature it has so i cant comment on that. And sound quality is good too.If this were released in a battery powered version, i would honestly reccommend it to every guitarist i know, nobody needs a convoluted looper for some jam sessions/practice and the ONLY limitation of this product is that it doesnt have a battery powered counterpart. Even if it were 5-10 pounds more expensive i would still reccommend it, but thats up to the company to release that product.Overall a product worth getting.

Was awesome when it worked
Was awesome when it worked! Great looper and i liked how i could save the loop i had made, meaning i didn't have to record it all over again. But, sure enough, it broke and i can't see a way to fix it! I switched the cables to the amplifier around, i unplugged the cable in the socket and then put it back in to see if that worked, but no. I also triple checked my amp to make sure that it wasn't just me being silly. I did the same with my guitar. Not a hope. Great looper for when it's working, and i fully recommend it to all guitar players. But if it breaks, i can't say i didn't tell you. Maybe i just got unlucky. Ah well.

Super tiny but excellent quality!
For its size, its quite heavy and robust, it comes in a hard box which is great for being able to travel with the pedal and it can even fit in your pocket! There is true bypass so there is no delay with the looping and it has a bright LED light on the front. The pedal is great quality and looks like it can take quite a beating and the ports let the cables stay nicely in place. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a power cable so make sure that if you do purchase this product, get a 9V power cable and also cables to plug in into your guitar and amp or for a pedal board.

Versatile, good value and great sounding
I do a lot of recording and have been using cheap or free VST amp simulators with Reaper. None of them captured the kind of tone I was after for blues and rock. I saw a review on YouTube of the Ammoon American Sound and thought I'd give it a try.It was outstanding!Capturing many Fender amp sounds from tweed to blackface, this acts just like a real amp, taking pedals fantastically and with the built in cab sim, it records really well.It takes time to dial in a tone you want, and it is certainly not going to be good for high gain use, but for rock and blues it is just right.Highly recommended for recording or as a gigging backup to plug straight into a PA.

well built and easy to use
So many ‘cheap chinese' boxes out there but how many are worth the money ?This one seems to be. It's smaller than you might think, well built and easy to use .The sound that plays back when recording is exactly as you recorded it,which can't be said of all loopers .Creating loops and overdubbing etc is all very simple and straightforward so you don't waste time faffing around and the best bits are yet to come. It has built in effects in the shape of 1/2 speed play back or reverse, then you can also store up to ten loops in a memory bank which is my personal favourite feature as it‘s always going to be used .The price ,for what you get is very good and some reviewers seem to have had a problem or two but personally I would highly recommend it.

Stunningly Good At Doing What It Is Supposed To
Amazingly good piece of kit even before we consider the very cheap price. Lots of great Fender clean, crunch distorted amp tones dialable complete with excellent speaker emulation. The unprogramable stompbox format will not suit everyone's needs but whether you are using it for DI recording, in front of an amp, in an fx loop, straight into a PA etc, etc, the wide range of Fender amp tones are nothing short of superb and also takes overdrives & FX very well too. Highest recommendation possible.
