Great Filler Kit
Probably going to need a gap kit with that new head unit... Good value and quality. I always think these feel flimsy, but you can get it in and out a few times without damaging it. And really most times it just goes in once for life, right?

Not exact fit
This is not an exact fit. I had to trim my bezel piece with a dremel to make it work.

Works well so far
So I read a review about this product not working because it lacks a support bracket. So I went to a local electronic store (Fry's) and asked about which dash kit to use and they recommended this model, not the 6505. So I went ahead and bought this one from amazon for my 2005 Jeep. Once it arrived I wired up my stereo with the appropriate harness and antenna adapter. After removing the factory radio, I realized the factory radio is secured to the dash by 4 screws. The actual radio and dash faceplate are all one piece, so with my aftermarket radio, I was trying to figure out how to secure the actual radio to the dash as the dash kit screws down with the four screws, but since this actual product lacks any support brackets, it didn't make sense at first. After flipping through included instructions (imagine that), it was actually a pretty simple fix. The aftermarket radio (Sony) comes with a bracket that is removable. That bracket actually secures to this faceplate and that then gets screwed to the dash, and then the aftermarket radio slides and snaps into the bracket. That way, the bracket is secured to the faceplate, the faceplate to the dash, and the radio snaps into the bracket and is therefore secured to the dash. So, basically, no extra support brackets are necessary. I know you can buy the 6505 that has support brackets, but this one actually works just fine. So for those of you new to this, you will need a wiring harness, an antenna adapter, and this kit. With that, the install is easy. I have only had it installed for a few days now and works great, but cannot comment on the quality of the product. It seems like sturdy plastic, and it should hold up. I have heard of other brands breaking where the kit attaches to the dash, so I am going to wait and see what happens. I will update this if there are any changes. So, a basic install guide:1. Attach wiring harness to aftermarket radio wiring. Use either crimps or solder.2. Attach aftermarket radio bracket to dash kit3. Remove dashboard cover (varies by make/model)4. Remove factory radio, disconnect wiring and antenna5. Attach wiring harness/aftermarket radio wiring to factory wiring6. Attach antenna adapter to factory antenna cable7. Attach dash kit/bracket to dashboard (make sure to keep the free ends of the wiring and antenna cable accessible)8. Re-attach dashboard cover9. Attach wiring and antenna cables to aftermarket radio10. Slide aftermarket radio into dashboard kit/bracket until it snaps into place. You are done.*It is a good idea to remove the negative terminal from the battery whenever working on your vehicle to avoid electric shock*

Fits 2006 jeep liberty limited 4x4
Make sure when you’re installing it, it’s at the upright position otherwise if it doesn’t fit you most likely have it upside down so check before anything.

Mount's the new stereo well in 2005 Jeep Liberty
The Metra 99-6503 Dash Kit fits well and securely holds the new JVC CD stereo I installed to replace the factory unit, worked excellent and looks good in my 2005 Jeep Liberty Limited, no issues during installation.

Works, but bezeling doesnt fit!
This Dash kit works well instead of buying a whole deck bracket for the car... but the bezeling on the border of it is just the slightest bit off, and doesn't quite fit. I had to force mine on. other than that, it made the installation of my stereo super easy!!
