I'm very impressed with this product, especially for the price. I wanted to set up a home cinema but on a tight budget. I bought this product with the following assumptions after investigations: It's not HD quality but 800 x 480, it needs to be used in a dark environment, the unit could be noisy and the speaker could be low. For £62 I was happy to proceed under these conditions based on photo's and video's I've seen of the unit in action. The product arrived quickly and was easy to set up. I connected to my blu ray and projected roughly a 70-80 inch projection onto my white wall and I have to say I was extremely impressed when the film started. With lights out, this is a cinema in your room. Yes it's not HD, I knew that beforehand, but the projection was still very clear and very much like watching a film at the cinema. The resolution is good enough and it doesn't need to be HD to enjoy and experience the effect. Watching the football on a screen this big is also a great experience. My advice, if you don't have hundreds of pounds to spend on a projector then buy this. It's fantastic and will certainly do the job your looking for at an affordable price. I would even recommend purchasing as a stop gap if you really want to save up for a higher priced unit in the future. It's extremely bright in a darkened room with great picture clarity, the unit isn't too noisy at all but I would recommend connecting to a speaker system for sound (Easily done) as the built in speaker is a bit low.

Great little projector
This is a fantastic little projector for the price. It is small and lightweight, produces a pretty clear image, even on my slightly textured wallpaper and works well even with a lamp on or the light coming through the curtains.Of course the darker the room the better but it does not need a fully darkened room to work optimally.I have mine setup with a Chromecast hooked on the HDMI port and it works like a charm to cast videos from my mobile devices or my Chromebook. The projector can be mounted on a tripod and remains fairly stable, if you don't mind a tripod in the middle of the room with cables hanging off it. It can also be placed on a shelf or table. The further it is from the wall it projects on, the larger the image it projects. Some down sides however include:- poor audio quality from the device itself. It is acceptable for most viewing but I will be setting up a speaker system to enhance the audio quality as it is rather painful on the higher frequencies.- I would also make a remark on the projection angle which is rather narrow, meaning the projector must face the wall at more or less the height you wish to project on if you want to retain a rectangular image. It takes some adjusting and can have an impact on where you want your projector to live depending on your setup at home.- The cooling fan can also be quite loud when the device isn't playing anything but it isn't noticeable over a video playing.Apart from that I would definitely recommend it. It is miles better than the 240p projector I had 10 years ago which cost twice as much as was utterly useless.

For the price the projector is great.
I fancied a projector for a while but didn't want to spend a lot. Saw this one and it had great reviews and, considering the price, I sort of doubted there authenticity. How can a 60 quid projector get 4-5 star reviews?Because it works.I have it set up in my spare room with the windows covered up. The darker the room the better. ATM it's about 3m away from the wall and that's giving me a 100 inch-ish screen. The quality really depends on what your watching. Ive got my Xbox one plugged into the HDMI socket. If I'm watching Netflix/YouTube then the quality is excellent. If I'm streaming from a "video website" and the quality of the video isn't great then it is adversely affected but still very watchable. I've read reviews saying text isn't readable but with my set up I'm just not having that issue. Although when looking at say a page of text the quality is not even throughout and does blur the closer it gets to the far left side. I'm not sure of the reason. Whether it's the projector or the angle or the wall itself (it does have a slight defect and may not be completely flat) regardless, if I'm watching a film it's unnoticeable.Set up was easy. Literally take it out of the box. Plug it in. Point it at a white (in my case slightly off white) wall, plug in your source and bobs your uncle. All is not perfect though. The built in sound as is is no better than a decent mobile phone speaker. Its quiet but I'm not getting any tinniness (?) As others have reported. Although your going to want to plug some decent speakers in to get a good audio experience.Fan noise is not really an issue for me. I don't even notice it if I'm watching something. It's obviously not a 4k super bright image for 60 quid but it is surprisingly good and very watchable your going to want to get your room as dark as possible to really get the best experience. I set it up in a spare room two days ago with the windows covered so it's pitch black and I honestly don't leave the room. I'm so happy with my purchase.I wanted to write as honest and detailed a review as possible because it's a decent product and alot of the reviews are one way or the other unfairly.I'd deffo recommend.
