Not perfect but does the job.
Because of limited space I needed a small extractor fan, but it needed to have a backdraft shutter fitted. This extractor meet my requirements.Pros: It has a collar that fits to the wall and seals around the extractor to stop bypass draughts. The backdraft shutter is mounted behind the face of the extractor and is operated mechanically by the on/off pull cord., this makes it easier to clean.Cons: The cutout in the front cover where the power cable comes out was too small and was already cutting into the cable and had to be enlarged. An internal soldered power connection failed while fitting he extractor and I had to re-solder it. The pull cord could do with being longer.I’ve been using this in the bathroom now for a couple of and it’s working well. Yes the noise level is a little more than my old one, but it’s just a bathroom. Best thing is there’s virtually no backdraft when the fan is off.

Good fan.
Bought this to replace an existing fan that looked exactly the same apart from this one was much cheaper. This has manual shutters that open and close on turning on and off and appearing more robust than the more expensive version it replaced with slow opening and closing automatic shutters which broke very easily if you tried to clean the fan.

Fan would not switch off when cord pulled
Spent 2 hours fitting this fan to find out it would not stop running when switched off with cord. Ran for hours . Decided to return as worried it may over heat. Also no pre drilled hole for electricity supply wire. Refunded the return without quibble but I would not recommend the product. Fan also noisy. It maybe that we received a defective product. Cant recommend the product but the retailer refund was instant so would recommend the service.Included a note with the return with explanation of fault.

Great value and performance
Great value pull cord fan. The supplied flex is short but there is plenty of space to terminate your own cable inside the body.

Confused ??
Bought this extracion fan mainly for the 180m/3H spec, but it seems not to clear any different to the cheap 15w 66m/3H fan that was removed, in fairness it's slightly quieter than the old one but seems not much difference in clearing the steam, my only other concern is that there is no earth connection on this unit rather worring when you have to use the pull cord to start and stop the fan, my old fan had an earth

Does the job.
A good little pull cord fan with back draught shutters. Note: The shutters a a bit clunky and the pull cord is on the left hand side.
