Superb G10 styled Field Watch which is excellent all round
This is an excellent wristwatchIt’s styled as a Field Watch - as issued MOD issued to British Army - wristwatches such as a Seiko Pulsar G10 are quite similar.Seeing as Lorus is Seiko expect it to perform much as a Pulsar (also a seiko) G10 would. It ticks a lot of boxes:Sand blasted satin Titanium caseTitanium screw down casebackVery nicely made with a time honoured Pulsar/Lorus wave engraving on the caseback (as found on civilian versions of MOD issued watches)~36mm - perfect size for a field watch.Arabic numerals along with Military time on the dial.18mm lug widthVery good Lumibrite Lume on the hands.100m water proof - perfect for anything bar saturation diving.Very stylish in looks and feels quality (I know quality as I own a few quality wristwatches such as a Grand Seiko, Breguet, Omega and Rolex) of course this isn’t to those standards but is exceptional for the price point and easily comparable to watches costing 3 or more times as much.Don’t be swayed by the big watch craze - I have 7.3/4” wrists and on a ‘Bond NATO’ strap this looks superb in the size it is - anything larger wouldn’t look right as a field watch. It has 2 crown positions with a quickset date, and accurate time setting. The date and legibility is very good in all light. The second hand strikes fairly true and it keeps accurate time. You can ‘hack’ by pulling the crown out.I’m very happy with this - I’ve been wearing it as a daily wearer for work, for the gym, for walking and trekking and it has performed excellently - it also looks superb on the Bond NATO strap and attracts attention. It has survived the ‘sauna test’ Unscathed - hottest part of a dry sauna - on the bench - for 1 hour - and then I’ve been wearing it in the sauna and pool.I can’t think of another watch at this price point which could ever match thisMy only gripe is the crystal - it’s Hardlex and durable and adequately scratchproof - but it is slightly ‘boxed’ and protrudes a fraction of a mm above the bezel - it should be recessed ever so slightly as the slight recess means a lip of the bezel will protect it against bangs -To be honest I can’t complain - and I’d gladly pay double or triple if this had a sapphire crystal!Overall - if you’re looking for a versatile, attractive, stylish watch to wear every day - with a classic field watch design - that is durable, accurate, with good lume, a date and 100m water resistance - to dress up with different straps - and you don’t want to spend much - but this!

Very pleased.
I received this today so this is a first impression. The watch is quite lightweight with a medium sized case which is ideal for me as I have small wrists. It's very clear and easy to read the time and the date although small, is fairly clear - I can just about read it without glasses which I can't on my other watches. I really like the look of the watch and the strap is comfortable straight out of the box, which surprised me - but beware that the strap is quite short. As I said I have small wrists but the strap is on the second hole from the end and this would be a problem for many folks. It was supplied in a decent box with good clear instructions and the guarantee details so I'm very pleased so far.

Lorus Sports Watch. Titanium
Very accurate time piece, loses less than a second per week..My wrist measures 7 inches and the strap has plenty of adjustment left, some have commented that the strap is too short, maybe its a different strap they're using now?I only bought this as a "playing out watch", but have ended up wearing it every day, its just so comfortable, and I don't need to continually adjust the time as I do with mechanical watches.....Silly really, I don't care what day, what month or what year it is, but I do like to know the correct time to the nearest second, and this watch fits the bill.I'm used to heavy, divers, Auto wind watches, so this felt very light, the face was also a bit smaller than I expected. The Lume is not very bright, even in the dark and the date I can just about see with my glasses on, but that doesn't matter, I don't care what day it is anyway.A great little watch, and waterproof enough for what I need these days.

Great watch, great price, how do they do it...
I have been wearing this watch for a few weeks now and am very pleased with it. I changed the strap immediately upon receipt, so cannot comment on that aspect.Time keeping is good - approximately +2 seconds per month with the watch on my wrist 24 hrs. Fairly big display, nicely laid out, any the light dial means that you do not need to keep cleaning the crystal as with a black dial. The titanium case is extremely light, which suits me. Luminosity of the hands is good, intensity visibly fades after a few hours but is still visible through the night.Overall, a great watch - a steal at £40.

No-nonsense good watch
I got this as a replacement for one I bought in about 2003. The analogue display is very readable and uncluttered, like a military watch. The day window is small, and just gives the number, so if that is important to you, you might want to look at something else. The thin case ( ~8mm ) is great, as is the moderate dial width, about 30mm. This watch is almost unisex, but slim-wristed women might need to consider a different strap.I wanted something I could comfortably wear and forget, that stands up to wear and tear, and that I can look at when I want to *know the time*, not other stuff. The case is titanium, so non-allergenic. The strap is fabric, and can be removed and washed, if it gets dirty, which I did with my previous one. It's good value, if you like plain, readable functionality.PS, my old one isn't even dead; it's lost, probably among my house move clutter.

Wish I could buy a replacement for the one I lost
Not to big, not too bling, perfect in every way but nobody has any stock & I would really like another one of these to replace the one I lost

Good watch short strap.
I t is a nice watch with a simple dial and also 100mtr water resistant and as it is Titanium its quite light the only down side is that the strap is very short, the overall length is only 9.5 inches or 238mm so I may send back or look for another strap at my local jewellers the strap is well made just a shame it's for tiny wrists, if getting a new strap you will need to buy an 18mm thick one.

Three Stars
Ok for the price. How ever, lug width is stated incorrectly as 20mm whereas it's actualy only 18mm...
