The knife is very solid feels great in the hand and looks great for the price. It did however come in the box very dull. It also sits to deep in the sheath and with great retention with limited surface on the handle to pull from it can slip out of the hand which leads to the final nit pick. I was hoping for more of a rubberized feel on the handle but for the price it is fantastic. The knife sitting to deep in the sheath and it being very dull out of the box, really are the only big reasons for a 4 star review otherwise I dont think you can beat the price on durability even with only being 420 steel. Get good with a stone.Update- love this knife. I keep reaching for it. It's beautifully balanced and I've gotten used to the sheath. I liked it so much I actually bought 4 more. One for a gift, one other for a friend, and one because I wanted another color. Last but not least I purchased the new one with 440 steel with wet stone on case and flint attached. My second one came in today and this one was decently sharp so I'm happy with that. Outside of my old timer that's always in my pocket it's one of my favorites.

I have a pretty diverse collection of pocket and fixed blades. 30 years of collecting along with this age of cheap really good quality knives will do that. In the midst of my collection this is a good knife. Well thought out design and quality materials for the price. The factory edge was sharp, but a little uneven. 10 minutes on a whetstone and strap and all was right. The handle was very slick for my taste, but 20 minutes sanding with number 3 steel wool and it was as good as any Cold Steel for grip. Don't let 420C steel scare you. It's still the primary steel for both Gerber and Buck. Practice a little touchup and maintenance along the way and our grandchildren will inherit these blades. So get out there and enjoy the great outdoors. These blades are up to the task.Take care.

Used it for deer hunting. Field dress two deer without any issue. Grip is good with cold hands. Very sharp, had no issues in the field. Cleaned up nicely. The carrying case holds the knife securely. Good value for your money.

The only issue i have with this is the sheath hook to attach to a belt. It works but it could be better. It is also the same length as the handle, so it doesn't give much grip when you are unsheathing it. They have updated this in their latest models though. I'm going to remove the loop and attached my own.

This is the knife I was looking for. Finally a a solid, sturdy, well made knife in the Mora price range. But a little bit bigger and better. Love the sturdy sheath, the clip is standard, no complaints. Alternative sheath or clips would be nice in the future. No scan grind, no problem. For a everyday allround knife I prefer it like this. Size and weight and handling are really good. I am definitely getting another one soon.

For a the price, made in China yes, it is full tang and seemingly sturdy. The sheet is plastic yes but it does hold the knife superbly, no rattles, no looseness even if you turn it up side down. However, this did come very dull from the box, could not slice through piper, thick or thin. And yes, I know there are people who always say their knife is dull from the box, even if it's a reputable brand like ColdSteel, etc, but no, this knife is really dull, but can be sharpened to perfection. Grip feels nice and the knife also has a pretty nice balance to it. So honestly for what you are getting this is alright, if only it came sharp.

The presentation for this knife was amazing. From the added goodies to the notes and even box it came in where well received. The knife is also great in the field and easy to maintain and edge. Love this knife and company

Pros: - sharp out of box - quality -great designCon: -case is good, attachment point is cheap and gets in the way of the draw (I bought the expensive version and it’s 100% better) -probably not for any type of prying action as it’s not very thick
