So pleased with results, and no peroxide
L’Oreal hair products I have been using for donkeys yearsHaving my hair blonde from the hair salon, over time got whiter and whiter, and started to drain the colour in my faceMy natural colour is a mid to dark brown, but to be honest never had it that colour since I was 12 years old, so that’s 44 years ago. I am now a 56 year old and want to grow old disgracefully. As mentioned had to get rid of the blonde, I did have about two week regrowth through the blonde ( salon only + toner)Never as yet used a pre lightener personallyNot dyed my hair from a box for years, and was a little nervous not the colour, but starting it myself againThe box in which I bought two packs of the pink is 80ml and in a tubeAs you see in my before and after images, my hair I am growing a bit, is short. My hair this length took one and a half tube.I coloured the front of my hair after combing out any knotsMy husband coloured the backWhen I dyed my hair black, that was simple to doI found colouring blonde with pink, a little more time was needed, as I needed to literally spread the hair all the way through and definitely the ends, and taking care around the ears. Remove earrings also, directions state.I coloured my hair today 16/6/2021So the images are in real time as with reviewSo the colour you see in images has no fade nor been washed since applying, happy to update and see how long it does last. Usually I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. The instructions state colour once then leave two weeks before reapplying.Having used 1:5 tubes, I have saved the other half for next time. Also have the colour on subscription ,next comes in July.Premixed so won’t go ‘off’I like the thought it is not permanent, so can change colours quicker without having to cut air off.Obviously over time I will have to pre lighten my hair as the bleach comes out, but for now it is fine.So in real time now, I have sat on the shower chair, wet my hair, rub it in a minute or so to remove and waken up the colourWASH HAIR IN COLD WATER, washing hair in warm water opens hair follicles up then colour removes quicker. No need at this stage for your own shampoo and conditioner, Colorista has softener already in it.The colour even if applied to roots have not even touched, so roots can be still seen, that doesn’t bother me, as next time will possible do lilac and pink together. So the moment of truth... I am annoyed that my phone supposed to be good on cameras... I have actually gone a deeper shade of pink, my camera showing all the wrong colours..The colour is a deep pin, not lilac at all.** Before colour shown with blonde, then during the colouring process**On washing off, with cold water I did feel a few stinging here and there, had no allergies so farI didn’t do a skin test, which I should have done, however I did test a cut off piece before applying. This is a good way of testing how long to leave on the hair, saves taking it off too early.I am very pleased with the results, even though my photos do not do justiceI was after a change and I got the colour as described. When taking the colour off, does not dye clothes or hands, does come with plastic large gloves, but I never wore themAnother important point, when rinsing hair off, no dye comes out with cold water. Basically it’s shampoo, and rinse clearThank you for reading my review, it is honest, love this product** Thank you to the seller** I hope my review helps, kind regards

Worked on my natural grey hair
I've got natural salt and pepper on the lower half of my head and I applied the colour for 30 mins and it has come out quite a subtle pink which is what I wanted. I'm trying to grow out the remnants of darker hair dye and much prefer the pink to the dirty blond ends. I am still a bit cautious to use it on the top of my head which is all white but I will go further up my head next time. There's not a great amount of product if you wanted to colour all your hair and I would probably use the whole tube on my shoulder length hair but I wouldn't be able to saturate every strand. It would be enough for an ombre effect only. Very pleased with my test run. ***last photo is using the dirty pink colour and I used the whole tube and have washed it just once and it still looks fab

A Bit Darker Than Expected Took A Week to Fade, Loved It Anyway!
First I want to say this is a fun product, it’s so super easy to apply; if you can wash and condition your hair, you can definitely do this. But if you’re looking for a temporary dye that washes out quickly, use with caution. My hair is (salon) blonde, not white or platinum but still very light. I’m always having different shades of pink mixed in with my blonde so I don’t mind the variances in this product at all. That said, I was hoping for a fun light pink but for some reason, on my hair at least, the colour came out quite a bit darker (see before and after photos) and took over a week to fade. Didn’t bother me at all, in fact that’s why I’ve bought the same colour a second time especially because as long as the salons are closed for Coronavirus, it might help hide my roots a bit . Have fun!

Lilac dye used on naturally gold blonde hair
USED ON NATURALLY GOLDEN BLONDE HAIR WITHOUT ANY BLEACH/LIGHTENERSI bought the lilac dye on a whim, this is the first time I've used dye on my own hair - I have previously dyed my boyfriends bleached hair using the manic panic permanent dye where you only have to apply it to the hair and let sit.I had to use this TWICE in the same day to achieve colour. The first time I used it I simply applied the dye straight in my hair and let it sit for 20 minutes. This results in only the bottom cm of my hair being dyed VERY faintly lilac on only my lightest strands of my hair; obviously I was not very pleased.2 hours later I decided to try dying it again. This time I rubbed the dye in quite viciously into my hair - at this stage the dye turned from dark purple to a lighter purple/white. After covering the sections I wanted I left it in for an hour and then washed it out. This resulted in a much stronger colour, more like the box said but more grey, though I did expect this as it is quite obvious from the box that it works best on bleach blonde hair.I don't know if I simply applied the dye wrong the first time, or didn't leave it in long enough, but either way this product isn't going to give you exactly what the box says.TEXTURE OF HAIR: this is one point I loved. The dye has conditioner in it I believe and it does leave your hair an amazing soft texture which I love.

Lovely colours! However, do colour test your own hair first for each shade.
I've tried two colours - pink and aqua on natural blonde hair. For the best chances of success it can't be recommended enough to please TEST THE COLOUR first on some hair that doesn't show that much. On each packet it is suggested roughly how long it takes to wash out and it takes longer for the aqua to wash out than for the pink. This makes sense if you think about the strength of the different pigments. Pink needed a little longer to take on my hair but does last well - washing every other day it takes about a fortnight to wash out. The blue takes really quickly and needs half the time to colour the hair (five minutes on mine) and takes longer to wash out. If people take the time to test the colour, as the packet suggests, and then think about what would work for their own hair then this product should do the job really well.
