Transforms the sound on a BMW base 6 speaker system... BUT needs spacers to avoid contact with window glass!
Bought from another online retailer. Worried about spending so much on 2 small speakers, but really has transformed sound in my 2012 F30 3 Series which had the base 6 speaker set up. Installed on the front. Has given a tighter bass and the subs seem to be under less load, vocals and treble are much clearer and no need to now use the EQ settings in the head unit to turn treble up (had it on max before fitting), now both bass and treble are flat. Package comes with a trim removal tool, 4 spare door panel clips and a hex key (not needed on F30), as well as 4 fitting screws (again probably for another model of BMW) which is a nice touch.WARNING: although they are described as plug and play there was contact with my window glass on both sides, more so on the passenger side. Luckily only minor touch so no damage done. Had to add some home made wooden spacers (approx 3-4mm) between the speaker frame and the door. This is definitely NOT plug and play for the BMW F30 hence the 4 stars.

Wow......Just Wow!
The improvement over the old is dramatic to say the leased, for this price I did expect a big improvement, but its better than I hoped, a few points here though, first the magnet on the back will contact the window when moving it up and down, somebody mentioned this in another review, his fix was to put a nut under the screw, but I thought that would deter from the sound quality, so I got some sound deadening material cut three shapes for my speakers and used these to make the speaker stand out a bit, second the wires are connected on the back unlike the original speakers, they drilled holes, I used the hole for the wiring loom for the door, this is sealed so I could reseal it and again no degrade the sound quality, result:- excellent, the mid range and treble are vastly improved, the next job is the bass speakers under the seats, but quite how much that would improve things is debatable, one other point I found out is, the rear parcel shelf speakers in a BMW F20 are the same as the front so I made purchase more of these
