Great
The screenshots are from a video I made about some C.K brand scissors that I am in love with. I also posted a video on Youtube comparing all the best heavy duty scissors I found in the UK.Pros:- Sharp and cuts VERY well!- Cuts lots of fabric layers easily! Basically as much as I can cram into it, it will cut.- After around 50 cuts in cardboard it still super sharp and cuts fabric perfectly. I checked with a microscope, no edge damage from the cardboard, although this may with some recycled cardboard that may have bits of hard material in it (glass, sand, etc).- Good size. Cuts around 4" length of fabric per press.- Comes with a plastic sheath. I had to bend it a little to make it clip onto the scissors properly but it literally took like 3 seconds as it's made of soft plastic. I will probably add a belt clip onto this so I can carry the scissors when needed. (Be aware that in the UK it's not legal to carry a blade like this without a good reason. You can learn the details on the official Police website.)Cons:- Doesn't open as wide as I'd like, but it's not too bad.- Handles are not perfectly comfortable, but good enough. More rubber and slightly larger finger holes would be nicer.- The tang (the bottom part of the blade that enters into the handle) is very short, and does not extend all the way into the plastic handle. This means if you press too hard or the plastic weakens over time then there is a chance of breaking the handle. (I checked how far it goes into the handle by using a magnet.) All-metal would be better for strength, but I Fiskars don't appear to sell their all-metal ones in the UK.- Somewhat misleading advertising in my opinion. This does not "amplify" your pressing force like some tools do with a compound leverage system. All it does is presses sideways on one blade to reduce risk of blade separation (which would cause fabric to get stuck between the blades). Conclusion:Best large ones I've found in the UK. I compared them to the most heavy duty ones from Wiss brand, and the Wiss became dull within a few uses. The tiny C.K ones are also awesome and will cut insanely thick materials. See my comparison video for the details.

Good quality
Never disappointed from fiskars scissors. The tip part some times feel bit stiff. Good for cutting thick fabric. Good size.

Fiskars Dressmaking Scissors.
Very good quality fabric dressmaking scissors. Comfortable to use and cut nicely into the fabric. The quality is good for the price paid. Various sizes available but chose the 24cm size for my small hands. Stainless steel blade and a plastic handle complete the look of the scissors. I have had a Fiskars pair of dressmaking scissors for years and decided to buy a new pair, so hopefully these will last as long as my original pair. Very happy with my purchase.

A useful addition to any household.
This is a nice pair of scissors. They're well made, extremely sharp and cut through cloth easily and - more importantly - cleanly; no ragged edges. The finger-holes are large (I have normally sized hands and I can fit 4 of my fingers through the large hole) and made of a hard plastic (white part of the scissors) lined with a softer plastic (orange part) - it would have been nice if the quality and feel of the white plastic was just a little bit softer, but this is a minor concern. They have an unusual leverage action, and I think this gives the scissors a more effective cutting stroke than the normal cross-type scissors. They certainly don't need a lot of effort to cut thick cloth. They were bought as dressmaking scissors, so that's all they will be used for - not for paper/card, not for kitchen duties, just dressmaking. Hopefully, this will keep them pristine and sharp for a long time. And it's a real bonus that they come with a protective guard that fully encompasses the blades.Overall, this is a high-quality product that does the job beautifully. The trade off is that they cost a fair bit more than run-of-the-mill scissors. But in my opinion, it's well worth paying the extra premium for a such a well-designed tool.I hope you found this brief review helpful.

Fabulous Scissors...highly recommended .
I decided to treat myself to another pair of scissors for my sewing/dress making hobby. I have a budget pair (as shown) Which I have had for just over 2 years but have gone quite blunt and have never feally enjoyed using them....I have liked the look of these Fiskars for a while now so I took the plunge. According to the Product description they are 2 CM shorter than my black ones which i have photographed next to for size reference but I have to say, when I am using them, they dont feel shorter at all which I am glad of.The scissors are extremely comfortable and are a joy to use...they are a different experience to my others when cutting fabric And feel wonderful to use. Today I used them when making a jointed teddy and had to cut through 2 thick layers of fleece including 2 layers of stabiliser and they cut like the proverbial hot knife through butter. I expect at some point they will blunt slightly but Fiskars have a scissor sharpener which I will also purchase later on.They come with a sheath which slides onto the blade part and a cut out which slots onto a round part in the handle Which keeps the sheath from coming off. I have many pairs os scissors...pinking shears, paper scissors, fabric scissors (now 2) and all are of differing qualities and cuts so I can safely say I can tell a food pair of scissors and these are definitely good scissors. Should this change at any point, I will update my review but I highly recommend.
