Fantastic secure cash box
I was extremely impressed with the quality of this cash box. It is very secure. It is a good size and there are seperate sections for notes and coins. It even includes a receipt book, a pen and a fraud detection pen aswell as a cord to secure the box to something if you wish to. The carry handle is solid and very well made. The lock is good and there are two keys provided for it. It is a very good quality box for the price and it is excellent value for money. It arrived very quickly and the customer service from the Percy group was outstanding. I would highly recommend this item and the seller.

Excellent as safe medication holder
Purchased to hold medication pack for elderly, confused relative. Weekly pharmacy pack fits perfectly when the cash tray is lifted out. Medicines are safe with only the nurses knowing the combination lock numbers. Ideal solution for everyone involved in the care.Box and lock are strong enough to prevent the efforts of a determined old lady opening it, without knowing the combination, despite her taking a knife to the lock. Perhaps not the intended purpose of the box, but it adequately meets the need.

Excellent product, especially having the combination lock instead of a key!!
This is the perfect box if you are a carer for someone with Alzheimer’s. As nurses who visit daily to give out medication insist that the medication is kept in a lockable box and it must use a combination lock and not a key. I trolled the internet to find a box as described by the nurses and this one is perfect. I think it should be advertised on the Alzheimer's website!!!!

Sturdy, Spacious but Sometimes Stiff
The cash box is quite big and sturdy and the compartments within are quite handy as they are different sizes and so are suitable for storing a range of things like spare change, keys, receipts, etc. If you don't want the compartments you can always remove it and have it as a big secure box for important paperwork and documents.I believe there are instructions on how to set the combination lock and what to do if you forget the combination code which is quite handy in my case! What I did initially find difficult was the combination lock. It was rather stiff to move and even when I entered the correct combination code I found that the box did not open easily. Despite this, I have continued to use the cash box and have found that overtime the combination becomes easier to use.Overall, it is quite handy, spacious and secure.

DO NOT BUY THIS BOX
Do not buy this product. Although the box itself is sturdy enough, the combination lock is shocking. I set my desired combination, tested it to ensure it has worked then filled the box and locked it. When I next tried to open the box the combination would not work. I tried everything to get the lock to open but to no avail. In the end I had to take a crowbar to it to get my stuff out!

Ideal Medicine Safety Box
We were looking for a box with a combination lock to be used to keep medication in for carers to administer to my granddad and having seen other reviewers' comments, went for this one. This is a good sized box which we have been able to store 4 bottles of eye drops in together with a pack of tablets, and all this on the top tray! We needed a box with a combination lock which could be opened by the carers only and prevent my grandparents from opening and administering the medication themselves as they both suffer with dementia and this has turned out to be a god send! So far no problems with the lock itself and having looked in stores this is a very good price for this sized cash box - you can pay the same for a smaller one. Brilliant!

Not bad for the price, but caveats ahead!
This cash box is a fair buy for the price (£11.49 at the time of writing). It beats keeping money in a drawer but I cannot stress enough that this is not an alternative to a properly mounted safe. The cash box and plastic tray are of a useful size - the box can accomodate A4 size papers and the tray allows for storage of all coin denominations in the UK and leaves a convenient space for notes - both advantages of this 12” model. In regards to the anti spill system, it works well on the whole but cannot prevent the odd coin from sliding into the adjacent space. Taking coins from the box is painless, as all sections of the tray are ramped at the front. The criticism which follows is not specifically targeted at this box, but rather a list of flaws endemic to almost all cash boxes. It serves as information for a potential buyer, so that they can assess the product and compare it with their needs, and avoid making a potentially costly mistake. The case is made of thin sheet metal which would not resist basic hand tools for more than about a minute. The lock is a generic wafer type, easily opened by raking, which is an unskilled attack. The box also can be carried away with relative ease so that a thief could work on it at his leisure, and if it were slipped into a shopping bag or rucksack, it could go all but undetected. In summary, the box does well at organising money and seems to be capable of holding a good quantity of cash. It is a good box for the price, but bear in mind that it is not a safe, nor will it protect your items in the event of a fire. Because this box provides little physical security (destructive and non-destructive attacks can be completed by people of all skill levels), I would recommend locking it away when money isn’t going in or out of it, and also not keeping large sums of cash in it either.
