Simply Superb!
Finally a product to free me the Android/Tablet restraints! - As an owner of a Lenovo TAB 2 Series Tablet which is a great tablet and a major improvement on my last one, it does however a BIG drawback . . . No exFAT file system driver! Why is this a big deal? Well space is a premium on a tablet especially when it comes to a heavy user such as myself. The Android OS takes a big chunk along with the many apps and data that they accrue. So bung in an micro-SD card of 128GB and boom, problem solved . . . well yes and no. If I want to be able to put apps on the SD card then I must format it as an encrypted ext file system which means only that device can read the micro SD contents which is a no no for me. If I format the card as storage only then I can not place any apps or the massive amounts of data accrue onto the card, which for a while was my only option but of course meant limiting the number of apps (which I tend of do anyway) and also regularly emptying the caches of the apps to free up space. Now your wondering what this has to do with the exFAT file system . . . it is because normally the exFAT is used to allow users to have a file of 4GB or more which on occasion I have a tendency to need.So now we come to this little device which allows me to have the SD card formatted as a system volume for all my apps and data whilst having a second card plugged into this device formatted as exFAT, which along with an app called 'Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB On-The-Go' by Paragon Software (which is I had to pay for) allows me transfer any data to and from the tablet with no 4GB file size limit. Although it can only be accessed (as far as I aware) from the Total Commander app or the X-Plore File Manager app but I guess beggars can't be choosers!I have used this device for a couple of months now with no problems what so ever - I have used the USB port, the micro SD port but the SD port only a couple of times. All transfers have gone through without a hitch (no corruptions) the device has been resilient through regular use and it is as simple as plug and play!

Wouldnt be without it.
This is a brilliant bit of kit. I use it to transfer photos from my Nikon SLR camera memory card onto my phone, I can then post them on social media or email them from wherever I am. And listen to this! If you have movies or photos on a usb stick you can plug it into the reader and cast the movies directly from the stick via the phone using the phone mirror or Chromecast options. Also if the internal memory or micro sd card in your phone or tablet is getting full you can move photos videos etc via the reader onto a usb stick, micro sd card or sd card wherever you are without the need for a computer. Really easy to use just plug it in and it instantly shows up on the phone and you can move stuff in no time. Honestly I don't work for them it's just a fantastic product that is very well made and well designed the small lead attached to the reader fold round and clicks neatly on the back. Small enough to keep in you pocket at all times.

Tiny, versatile, but a bit flimsy
This has added a good degree of flexibility to my tablet and phone to read and store data on external devices. The product is small enough to be handy, but the short cord could be a weakness

For a Galaxy S8 you need the 4-in-1 type C
I got this to easily file manage the sd card on my Gopro instead of using the crummy app.Unfortunately it doesn't detect any mass usb storage when connected to my Galaxy S8, despite being OTG compatible.Contacted kiwi support and still waiting for a reply.Amended on 22 Feb. Support sent out another and were very helpful. Will give 5 stars if my S8 finally recognizes it.Amended 25 Feb. For a Galaxy S8 you need the 4-in-1 Type C, which the company kindly sent out to me, this works with no problem at all, easily found the Sd card and manages files perfectly by phone. The best Customer Service I have ever experienced for tech.

Facilitates SD card backup for Samsung phone and for transfer to an Apple device
This did exactly what it said it would and was very quick at doing so too. I bought this with another connector for Apple iPad so I could copy pictures and videos from Samsung phone to iPad. Although I knew you could take the SD card out of phone, it’s clumsy to do so and for multiple times might weeken connections. With this lead I just plug it in to the USB port and the Android operating system on the phone just sees it as an external storage device. It worked seamlessly first time.
