Will this frost stat control a 3Kw heating load?

It only controls the heating temperature. ie When temp dips below, say 5*C, it will click heating on in order to protect system from freezing up. Our boiler is in the loft so we have one fitted in the line in order to protect boiler and pipe work in cold weather. If you are still unsure get in touch with a Gas Safe engineer?

There is one small screw on the edge of the fascia. Remove this and the fascia pulls away.

Does this need a neutral wire.

From memory, this is a simple one-pole switch in line with the live wire. There is no neutral connection.

The specification says wifi control via app. Is this. Is this true or a mistake????

On this stat it is a mistake. If you need to change the stats temperature you have to do it manually. 🙂
