Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant 75 ml

Good product but quite expensive

Bought this after seeing it recommended by Lisa Eldridge. Have tried dozens of skincare products over the years, would put this one in my top 5 products ever. I have sensitive / acne-prone / combination skin (in my 30s) and when I use this product my skin glows, pores are thoroughly cleaned without irritation and I look like I just got 14 hours sleep! I use it 1-2 times a week. Will be buying this product for the rest of my life.

This is a good product and as Lisa Eldridge mentions on her website, it does make your skin silky smooth. I have neuro dermatitis though, which is a mostly stress induced dry skin problem, and it does seem to support my skin better than most exfoliants I know, but I don't think it's better than all the cheaper alternatives I've used. That being said, it has found a definite place in my face care regime anyway.

Love this product. Used many different products but I always come back to this one. When my face looks tired and worn out and needs a pick me up this really does the trick. Just gives my skin a nice glow and regenerates it. And I always get compliments after I use it. If you're unsure you can just go to any dermologica counter and ask for free samples.

After watching Lisa Eldridge's utube video of favourite beauty products this popped up and I thought I would give it a try. It is the best exfoliator I ever used, because unlike scrubs or the like you treat it like a face mask and then wash it off and you are left with sublime smooth skin - it is particularly great for sensitive or oily skin as you don't scrub away at your face which would just normally leave it red and blotchy.

Tried this product on the recommendation of a friend. I can't help myself as I tend to be a product junkie. It's a nice product that is, indeed, gentle and provides light exfoliation. I think the "selling point" of this exfoliant is the fact that there is no need for you to scrub. You put it on like you would a mask and let it sit before rinsing it clean. It leaves your skin nice and smooth and is pleasant to use. I just find that, for what it does, it's not worth the price. I think for the minimal amount of exfoliation that this product provides, you'd be just as well off using a nice terry wash cloth along with your daily cleanser and you would obtain the same if not better results, saving you money and time. Shipping time was good, seller recommended.

I have sensitive, acne-prone skin so this product is ideal. Unlike other exfoliants this one is left on like a mask so there is no harsh scratching. Have only been using Dermalogica products for two weeks but am already seeing a difference in my skin (less redness, reduced acne and scarring). It does tingle a bit when on but my skin isn't red when I wash it off. I use it twice a week.

I have started using this product once a week and found it to be benefical and have saved alot of money going to a salon, it is easy to use and removes the crime from the week building up on my skin from the polution and makeup. Well worth investing in the product but make sure that you test your skin first jut incase your are too sensitive on the skin

I have very sensitive, hormonal acne prone combination skin. The professional at the storefront told me this is the strongest non-abrasive exfoliant on the market. It sucks the blackheads right out of my skin and removes all the dead dry skin and leaves me smooth. I use it 2-3 times a week. I find if I don’t use it, my makeup starts looking cakey because of the dry unpolished skin. I also use the ultra calming cleanser and calm water gel moisturizer from dermalogica. The combo of these products have helped lessen my acne and they are the only products I’ll use now for 2 years running

Die Maske habe ich auf Empfehlung einer Freundin gekauft und ich bin begeistert. Die Haut wird ohne Rubbeln sondern lediglich durch Abspülen mit warmen Wasser butterweich. Insgesamt hat sich mein Hautbild seit ich diese Maske benutze verbessert (z.B. feinere Poren). Sehr zu empfehlen!

In my teen years I was plagued by really bad acne. Now that I'm 24, I no longer have actual clinical "acne", which is a relief. However, my skin is still very prone to periodic breakouts, which is why I'm constantly looking for a good skincare line. Yet most of the anti-breakout products I find in CVS are way too harsh for my skin--the levels of salicylic acid are much too high for my skin. If you're a teenager or a woman older than 35, CVS is the perfect place to find good skincare products at great prices. But if you're in your 20s and early 30s, there is no product that is really well-balanced for your mature-but-not-too-mature skin.I started looking at Dermalogica at first because they are Leaping Bunny certified ([...]). This means that they absolutely do not test on animals and are cruelty-free, which is something Clinique and other high-end skincare lines can't say. After a bit of research, I decided to take the plunge and plunk down the money for the Clearing Skin Wash, Gentle Cream Exfoliant, and Oil Control Lotion. And I'm so thankful I did! My skin is noticeably healthier and shine-free, and I haven't had a breakout since I started using these products. I still get the occasional pimple around my period, but nothing like the breakouts I was getting before. This exfoliant is my favorite product because it gets rid of all the dead skin without scratching micro-cuts into my face like a gritty exfoliant.Before you buy any Dermalogica product, I highly recommend visiting their website ([...]). They have an interactive tool that helps you determine which products are best for your skin, which is how I decided on the three products I purchased. You can also check to see if your salon/spa sells Dermalogica, but be prepared to pay a lot more than what you'll find here on Amazon.

Other reviewers felt that the product they received was a knock off. Mine was definitely the true Dermalogica brand. The package itself was sealed and so was the tube. That said, the product is fantastic. I have dry and sensitive skin. Despite exfoliating regularly, my skin had become extremely flaky. I use high end products but nothing was helping to get rid of the dead skin cells. I decided to try this product and I am very glad I did. After the first time, my skin felt better but was still flaky. Other reviewers said they used this product more than twice a week. Two days later I used the product again and my skin was smooth and soft with very little dryness. I feel I do need another treatment but will wait a few days. I leave the product on my skin for 10 minutes. I've had no adverse reaction on my sensitive skin. I highly recommend this product. It is gentle and it works.
