We are using this as a heater for our conservatory, so indoor use. It is efficient and good value for the price. It is reasonably robust and no problems with indoor usage.

Really like this patio heater, easy to assemble and very sturdy, one screw for the base was missing but wasn't a problem I just put another one in that fitted, gives out plenty of heat for me and friends have commented how warm it feels even when not sitting under it , top job .

Great product just not as warm as I had hoped. Definitely takes the edge off the cold though.

Awful to put together. The screws to hold the baseplate were self-tapping, too short and hard to get into the base. Longer screws are shown in the instructions. Scraped the skin off the palm of my hand trying to get the 3rd screw in so only used 2 screws to hold the base on which could be an issue. The rest of the unit goes together slightly easier. Heat output is good, but the mains cable could do with being another metre long to reach my plug. Overall acceptable for what it is.

For £70 I think this heater is reasonable for warming up a small to medium space. I haven’t needed to use recently since heatwave going on. But have used some evenings above outside table when sitting with guests and took the chill out the air no problem. I live in Scotland so evenings can be cooler even in summer. Would recommend for garages as well if working within in winter.

No assembly instructions, base screws sheared off before I’d finished assembling it (with 2 bits in a plastic bag that didn’t seem to be needed)More landfill for the tip if I can’t send it back

I purchased the wall-mounted unit with the remote control first and because that was so good I then also bought the free-standing garden one with the pull cord. Both units are very well made, easy to assemble (the base-plate now comes pre-installed), and provide a good heat output. I've mounted the remotely controlled one on the ceiling of my hot-tub shed so I can get dried off in the warm. The mounting bracket and fixings are supplied along with instructions. It managed to heat from 5 degrees Celsius to 15 in roughly 30 minutes on the 2000W setting so while not ultra-cheap to run it only needs to be on for a short period of time which suits my needs. The free-standing unit is now used in my garage/workshop to keep me from freezing to death this winter!

My old arthritic lab has a heat mat to lay on but during the cold nights I was worried about him keeping warm. This lamp is ideal to supply a little heat (on setting 1) to keep him snugly. It has higher settings (2 and 3) so more heat is available.It is easy to assemble, maybe should lose 1/4 point because the screw holes not properly thread on some but nonetheless its strong and sturdy (lovely heavy base). Plus it has a safety feature (untested) that it will cut out if it falls over though it would take something pretty strong to knock it over.I am really pleased with this and think its fantastic value. Speedy delivery too.
